Planet Fitness – Pompano

I recently signed up for a six month seasonal pass. The reason for the six month pass is because I work winters in Florida and I spend my summers back home in R.I. Well this year I was unable to find a job. So after 3 months of looking and not finding a job, I’ve decided to go back home. So I asked if they could transfer my membership and to my surprise, they said they don’t have the means to do that! In the three months I was here I went to the gym once. I signed up for six months! I paid $ 65.00. The GM told me there’s nothing he could do. If I could give zero stars I’m my review I would! That’s def poor customer service on there part!

Beware! The membership that gives you more benefits also seems to give them a right to take money from you account after you have notified them to cancel your account. The Eagles said it best in the song Hotel California when they said that, «you could check out anytime you like debut you can never leave…»

Joined the first day it opened and it’s been great ever since. Clean work out areas and locker rooms, friendly staff, massage chairs, hydro massage beds, tanning, pizza, bagels and last, but not least… free tootsie rolls

Great place. I only go at night to avoid the usual «gym people» and it’s fantastic.
The only con I can think of is that they do not allow you to pay for a years membership in advance. This is simply because they want the automatic renewal to continue to debit your account whether or not you still live in the area.
If they allowed payment for an entire year, I would have easily gotten the black card rather than the basic plan

Hands downs. I’ve been a member to la fitness youfit and planet fitness. And PLANTE FITNESS is the best hands down. 20 $ a month bring a guess and use massge chairs and tanning bed. It’s clean knew and staff are really friendly. No body stares. It’s not packed and open ²⁴⁄₇. Beats any gym. Machines are clean I’m in love with working out now. I came almost everyday.

This gym opened a few months ago five mins from my house, so I decided to give it a try, since I cancelled my membership at blast fitness. The staff is always friendly whenever I go in. They have two 30 min workout routines where you go from one machine (60 secs) to the next with a 30 SEC break inbetween. They have sanitizing station around so you can spray your machine after you used it. The bathrooms are always clean. They have two membership options. The $ 10 which is the regular one or the black card which is $ 19.99 and you get to use tanning, hydromachine, chair massage and some kind of beauty light. Plus you get half off of merchandise and water. If you want to avoid the girls that put makeup on to go to the gym and look cute and the guys that take pictures while lifting heavy weights, then try planet fitness.
