Farm View Pork Store

For years, this has been the best place to get authentic German sausages and meats. Can’t say enough about them — great small town service, amazing quality. A bonus if you speak German, you can practice here, lol!

Small old school German butcher with terrific meat and service. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area. Try the Leberkäse homemade hotdogs and weisswurst. Bring cash, no credit cards.

AWESOME place to get AWESOME meat. I order my holiday meat (standing rib roast, filet mignon etc) from Farm View. You have to order early to get your order in time. Besides that they have great burgers, hot dogs, deli meats etc. They also have a great selection of salads as well. You have to try their german potato salad! Only caveat — they only take cash. Oops… another caveat — pay the meter. You will get a ticket if you don’t feed the meter.

I stumbled upon this store while running errands near my folks. You walk in and smell the smokey-​goodness…
The deli case is chock full of all sorts of sausages and wursts, and different varieties of german/​european style deli meats. I got some turkey and ham that were fresh and tasty. Feeling more adventurous, I asked about the Leberkase (sp?) in the case, as everyone in the store was buying some. Bob (who is awesome) directed me to the warm version that he had just baked (yes, baked! yum!) — a loaf straight from heaven. I also got some bacon to cook this weekend that looked so meaty and perfect. And then some of their homemade Liverwurst.
There are some hanging jerky-​type meats drying but I forgot the name. I bought a pair of the wider ones on the top rack. There was a nice «snap» to the casing and the inside was soft and smokey, with the perfect amount of spice. Yum!
There is also a case with fresh meats — some nice looking steaks, ribs, ground beef and such — but I didn’t need those today.
A hidden gem! I’ll be back!

Nice place, good guys. They have a sort of local authentic German meat shop personality inside the shop. This is not a typical deli nor is it overly fancy.
It is my regular sandwich place. It is kind of a get-​away of sorts from the usual.
No places to sit, I pickup, go for a walk & take back to work.
