Not quite sure what the people below are talking about, I’ve been going here since the the early 90s. There’s no other place with a selection of red wings like they have and I’ve fixed my entire families shoes there without any problems. Sad to see people give a bad review just because a place was honest and didn’t want to waste you money.

I agree with Maria. I went to Jimmy’s just over a year ago. I wanted to have new soles put on a pair of my favorite shoes. The woman said it was not possible; they were unrepairable. So, i found a shoe repair shop in Midland that didn’t hesitate to repair them. They did a great job; costly, but worth it.

I am all about supporting local businesses and very disappointed that I can’t take my shoe repair needs to this local establishment. All I needed was for them to shorten a strap on a pair of stylish wedge heel shoes. Not complicated at all since another repair shop(in Midland Park) was able to do this. They only want easy jobs and not willing to think outside the box. Poor customer service skills. The woman that works the front(perhaps she’s the store owner) was abrupt and rude. Oh well, their loss.

We took in a pair of higher end men’s shoes that my husband really likes to have them re soled. A very uninterested and unfriendly woman at the front desk looked at the shoes, made some faces and then took the shoes in the back to consult with someone. She came back with a price of $ 70.00 and told us probably not worth it. Actually would have been worth it since a new pair would be considerably more money… but there is no way they would get our business with that attitude and customer service
