I got the Shrimp Po Boy and my wife got the Grilled Cheese For Grown Ups — both of which were excellent. Servers were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was comfortable. Would certainly recommend stopping here for a meal if you’re passing through Ponderay.

Amazing food and fantastic service! We have been here three nights total, and each visit has been as good as the last! I ordered the bison ribs with the house barbecue sauce and sides of ceaser salad and the loaded baked potato. First off, the ribs. They were so tender and pulled apart easily, not to mention had a fantastic flavour! The potato was huge and had a really nice flavour to it. The ceaser salad was fantastic. The lettuce was crisp and there was a lot of cheese! They give you quite a bit of food, I ended up sharing with someone and they even split everything in half for us in the kitchen! We also came back and ordered off of the happy hour menu, which has delicious appetizers. We got the nachos which had many toppings, along with their house made chips, which were delicious. We also got the potato skins, which weren’t greasy at all and had a ton of flavour. For dinner, I got the baby back ribs and they had super good flavour, but it was more difficult than usual to get the meat off of the bone. For desert, we got the blueberry cheesecake and it was magnificent, but it seems like it is usually sold by 6 at night. The service in this place is awesome, with super friendly waitresses and fairly quick service.

Mediocre at best. The steak, the bison burger, and the ⁶⁰⁄₄₀ were all dry and over cooked even though we asked for medium rare. Nothing came to the table hot, just warm. Service was great. Just don’t expect much for the food.

Awesome food, amazing service! Had top sirloin, which was perfectly cooked. Great place to stop on your way to or from the border. Will be back!

This was amazing I had the smoked ribs, and onion ring’s .perfect my wife got the chicken fried steak awesome also. kids enjoyed there kids plates also thank you.

There has never been a time in my life where the food was so good, that I had to go back 3 times in one week to get the same meal! Sweet Lou’s…you did it… absolutely fantastic Bison burger… ask for it medium rare… OMGOSH!

What a cool place. Dull day of skiing on the mountain. Rolled down to lous. They took us straight in with no reservation. Great servers. Very personable and attentive. Bar service was delicious. Moscow mule and a Margarita. Food was quick and we’ll cooked. I would stop by anytime we were in the area.

The food is OK, but the service has gone downhill over the past year. Lots of turnover in the staff. The menu is standard café fare, and is inconsistent in quality.

I was really impressed with this restaurant which is in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn we were staying at. We were going into Sandpoint for a dinner and at last minute decided to «stay close to home» even though I’m pretty leery of restaurants next to inns. But what a surprise. Very relaxed X family friendly atmosphere. Light, roomy, loudish music, sports tv… not fancy in the least. But the food was delicious. Very well trained service, fast, and friendly. We had prime rib and salmon, both which can be messed up – but rib was perfectly tender and salmon moist. All sides were well seasoned. So glad we took a chance!

Just taking a drive over from Spokane and decided to stop. Let me tell you, we are so glad we did! The appetizers were spectacular but the adult grilled cheese was the best ever! I had the club and it was perfect. Everything was of the best quality, down to the bread. Jen our server was on point! We didn’t want for anything. Also, there wasn’t a seat in the place you couldn’t see the game on TV. One of the best places we’ve eaten in a long time. Tons more on the menu that sounded delicious.

Great food! Excellent service! This is one of our favorite places to eat. Never had anything I didn’t love! I’ve actually had a wide variety of items on their menu & Everyone was amazing! The burgers– hand formed & perfectly cooked to order, the chili– perfection!, the crab Mac n cheese-​incredible!, ribs– smoky, tender Yummy good! I’m Sooo impressed by the owner, comes to your table & goes beyond to make sure your experience is enjoyable. I take all my out of town guests here & must hoo 3 – 4 times a month!

I had a Cobb salad it was good I can see the potential for a very good time if I was a regular. Many options on the menu and a great beer selection.
Unfortunately I was just getting a big cold and was not to Hungary.
Please move the outside smokers away from the door in the dining room (west side) it’s not the ambiance I was looking for during dinner.

Tons of TVs and sound control boxes. Fun game day atmosphere. Well staffed. Full bar with Small special drink menu. Okay food, nothing spectacular but some good choices. Veggie burger is good and they now have gluten free buns!

Order the chicken fried steak it was fantastic. The honey mustard dressing for the dinner salad was also homemade. Skip the huckleberry cobbler as it is Microwaved and not fresh. Also skip the crab macaroni and cheese.

After a long drive from Canada we stoped by this place. What a pleasant suprise.
My wife had the Chicken fried steak. She is a texas girl and thought she knew what she was talking about.
She didn’t. Best steak ever she proclaimed.
I had the Cod. Being Danish I know cod, and the guy in the back just nailed the cooking of the fish.
Flaky as it should be, with just enough resistance in the flakes. Horseradish mash was the crowning of the dish.

Carolina moonshine. Huckleberry Cheesecake. Enough said. VISIT here on your stay in Sand Point.

Grow up grilled cheese sandwiches were hearty, gooey-​melty satisfying along with the featured soup — a rich onion– tomato soup spiked with Tabasco and good for dipping that crunchy toasted sandwich. Washed down with refreshing huckleberry lemonade and accompanied by their homemade potato chips (we are in Idaho after all)– a satisfying and enjoyable way to end a day of gaping at truly magnificent lake and mountain scenery.

What happened to the quality and service? We used to eat here at least once a week whether it be dinner, lunch or just appetizers. I loved the mussels my husband the nachos. I am not sure when they stopped caring about what they are serving.
This review is the product of 5 bad experiences in a row.
When did it become okay to serve a plate of mussels that only ½ have opened and tell the customer, «That’s just how it is. Sometimes they open sometimes they don’t». The chef should’ve removed the unopened ones from the plate and the waitress should’ve looked at the plate before she served it.
We have had this waitress a few times and she is never nice.
We have made a group decision and won’t be going back.

This was my third visit to this establishment. Every time I have been here the food and service have been excellent. This visit was no different. At our table we had the fish and chips, meatball sub, cheeseburger with subbed blue cheese, and adult grilled cheese. Every one of these were excellent. Service was solid with the waitress even bringing an extra glass of ice due to the freshly brewed iced tea. Any time that we happen to be rolling through Sandpoint we will vertainly be making an excuse to stop by again. Yes, it’s that good.
