This place is a locals dream. We started going as a family since it’s opening. The food is the best fast casual I’ve ever had and the paninos are super unique. My favorite is the Sweet Southern BBQ Pork. Our girls love the creative Cheesy Stars and Stripes. Sara, the owner, really sets an amazing family-friendly atmosphere is treats everyone as a guest. They’re also responsive to feedback — adding the Chicken Caesar Salad panino after popular request(it used to be a special and has been promoted to full-time menu status). They even hold special events occasionally. Last year, they decorated gingerbread around the holidays. So keep an eye on social media for these fun events. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. If you’re looking for good food EVERYONE will love(yes, you too dad), then Trasca is the place.

First timer. I had the turkey panino. First off you walk in and notice the barista to the right churning out special cups of caffeinated greatness. I walk in wondering where to go. The menu signs were a bit cluttered didnt really know where to start. They had a main menu panel on every wall. The specials were kind of hidden behind the bustling staff. Was kindly greated and the girl was very patient in answering my questions. I order the Turkey Panino sandwich and grab a number to place on my table. –SIDENOTE: I noticed my receipt had a tip section on it. I dont fully understand the tip before service thing but, i treated it like takeout. I walk into the back area a nice rustic looking seating area with bold wooden distress furniture with a home-y feel. Within minutes my expresso arrived. As I enjoy this delicious cup of very Cuban like expresso I notice the regulars that come in there. I really enjoy community enriching establishments of these small towns. Then the queen of the ball arrives my turkey avocado panino. It was like someone took a crisp thin crust pizza topped it with the innards of a turkey club and rolled it into this awesome idea. The outter wrap stayed crispy throughout the consumption process with nice thick slices of turkey breast and bacon. …At this point I regretted ordering just a half. Great spot and meal didnt exceed 20 bucks like everything else around the TPC. Going back tomorrow to try more!

as good as it gets. Great food, good staff, and attentive managers. We have been here several times with our family and it has quickly become a favorite. Great job Trasca & Co. If you have room, try the mudpie for dessert — my wife and kids love it!

We ate breakfast/brunch here — so we ate from their weekend breakfast menu. We got a breakfast panini and a breakfast bowl — we enjoyed both greatly. Even though this was a breakfast item and not their usual fare, you can tell they paid attention to the small details. The dough/flat bread that was used for the panini was crusty and excellent; and the grits use in the breakfast bowl were outstanding — far superior to what you usually find at restaurants. The dining is casual but cute and the coffee and beer choices are excellent. All the staff we encountered were friendly and very attentive — from the cashier, to the server, to the manager on duty. In fact, the manager was so attentive(we saw him make several rounds of the restaurant to check on tables in the 45 minutes we were there) that we thought he must be an owner! Highly recommend.

For starters, the panino I had(turkey club) was so delicious. I have never had anything like it before. Cheesy, gooey, toasty, and warm. It totally hit the spot and filled me right up. I had a half(which to me looked like a whole!) with a salad on the side. The salad was a «trasca» salad I believe and it was packed full of sunflower seeds, almond slices, apples, and cranberries. Yum – I have a true love for sunflower seeds in a salad! My husband opted for the cracker pizza. He said it was good, but being from CT he’s had better(love you New Haven). He also thought it was a bit greasy. But other than that, it was decent. In my opinion, he should have had a panino ;) We also tried the white chocolate raspberry scone which was delicious but burnt on the bottom(luckily I was able to scrape it off with a knife). Therefore, I should give 3 stars… but that panino was so damn good.

Nice little place for a lunch, but very $$$. For a salad with a little protein and to order cafeteria style the prices seem high. Same menu for dinner. If you don’t care for calzones, you won’t like their«paninos», They do have good coffee

Happened upon this gem at a recent Foodie Adventure with Jerry the gang at JAX Restaurant Reviews. While the foodie adventure was surprisingly a bust, I am keeping an open mind on the venue. The décor rocks, the people are friendly, especially owner, Sara! I love her story and what she’s accomplished! Drawbacks were extremely slow service, in terms of plating and distributing food to guests. Some dishes were cold upon arrival and seems as though they ran out of dishes as one guest at our table was served her dessert in an oversized ceramic chafing dish. I’ll have to try again as there’s hope for those delicious Paninos! Although tucked away and off to a slow start for me– seems to be a decent addition to Sawgrass!

Great fresh food and service. Had the Homestead and the South by Southwest… both were delicious. Some comments state that this place is pricey. We thought so too first but you get quality food and large servings. We will likely split something next time… and yes there will be a next time!

Tasty, but VERY pricey for a grilled sandwich. Imagine food truck quality at 4* bistro prices. Their coffee, on the other hand, is outstanding! Quite the paradox that the coffee is half what you’d expect to pay while the sandwich/wraps are triple. Updated 4−30−16 Tried their Bfast. One order ok, other inedible. Sent back because steak wrap was so salty, you couldn’t taste the food. Chef denied salting anything. For $ 30, you can get a better breakfast at Beach Diner and they won’t deny it when a mistake occurs. Won’t waste any more time/money here. Coffee is still excellent, but poor consolation when you’re hungry. Update – after second employee asked how food was, they eventually came out with another wrap. The waitress explained this one was unseasoned and all the chef had used on the prior one was garlic powder and pepper. Garlic SALT maybe, but regardless, the undertone of denial didn’t help matters. We felt as if the effort was being made more for the benefit of the establishment looking good in front of the other diners rather than making sure we were satisfied. Oh well, as I said, the coffee is excellent, guess we’ll just skip eating here.

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! We first came for coffee, which is from Zingermans Bakery in Ann Arbor, MI. We decided to come back for dinner and had a delightful meal. I got the«panino» with cheese and pepperoni. Now let me tell you exactly what a panino is. The owner’s grandmother created this delightful dough and rolled it up with fresh ingredients. It melts in your mouth and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Aside from paninos, they serve a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, salad, soup, and pizza. I recommend this place if you are looking for a family friendly great food restaurant. I promise this is the best place to go if you are in the area.

I’ve been living at a local hotel near this restaurant for the past few weeks and I have visited this location multiple times a week. The food is great especially the Philly cheesesteak and trasca salad. So why only three stars, the staff. At times I found them rude and appear to be only there for their social hour. On a Tuesday night with less than 10 covers it took 25 minutes to get my food. It would be one thing if they were busy but the place was dead. I’ve placed to go orders where they don’t pay attention to details and almost forget half my order before I reminded them there were missing items. I thought it was only me until they did the same thing to another customer. Instead of the girl take responsibility, she blamed the other cashier in front of us, which made us all uncomfortable. ***came back tonight to place a to go order and per usual they forgot half my order. Had I not checked I would have left paying for my order but not receiving it. If this happened once it would unfortunate but this happens every time.

This was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I got the Turkey Cajun Ranchero. I cannot wait to go back! They have homemade sodas which I didn’t try. You can also sit outside.

Very hidden and cute little restaurant. I’d probably give it more stars however I think it was expecting too much. Do any of these reviews mention how expensive this is? The paninos are over $ 12 for a whole. Surprisingly, I hadn’t eaten all day so I ate half and the chips and took the other half home but are it shortly after(ok, WAY better after cooling off). The place is really cute and I came on a Monday during lunch, so packed!!! First we waited in a line for 10 min, couldn’t find a seat, waited 15 min for our food to come. I’m hoping it’s not usually this packed because their sure was not enough seating and surprisingly cold outside that day. The paninos are really interesting and good, just not anything I guess I was too stoked about. I’d certainly try a different kind if I go again. If 2 people go out to lunch, the bill would be over $ 25(just water to drink), and I feel there’s plenty of other options in jax beach that would be the same amount of wait and price for more. Worth a try for sure!

I have seen tons of great reviews and gorgeous pictures of food from Trasca & Co for a while but because I rarely find myself in Ponte Vedra, I hadn’t had a chance to visit. Recently my boss was looking for a location for a work lunch out at the beach and I mentioned Trasca. We peeked around their website and decided to give it a try. I ordered the half size Neato Fajito with soup. It was fantastic. The sandwich itself was gooey and had a ton of flavor. I loved that the bell peppers still had a slight crunchy to them and weren’t just mush that got mixed in to the other tastes. The board up front said the soup was tomato bisque but what came out seemed more like gumbo. It was good but I honestly wouldn’t have gotten soup if I knew that was the choice. My boss ordered the gauc with chips and enjoyed it, too. The atmosphere was really pleasant and comfortable. I also really enjoyed the lemonade from the fountain and loved their unique use of fountain drinks.

So pleased with this place! The owner Sarah cane out and personally introduced herself and her adorable toddler nephew! She was amazing! And so attentive, everyone who worked there was great! It was my first time and I am looking forward to coming back and trying another panino! And the coffee bar! My goodness! I definitely recommend the café con media(I think that’s how it was spelled) it was to die for! AND they have almond milk! Will definitely be back

What an incredible find! I stumbled on Trasca & Co Eatery while looking for a quick bite before driving back to Orlando & am so happy I stopped by because this place is awesome. The staff is super friendly, I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. Though they are known for their paninos I decided to give their soups a try, a concept they’re currently testing out. I ordered the vegetarian chili which was not only delicious but a generous portion. The chili came topped with red onions, cheddar cheese, sour cream & tortilla chips — everything you want on a chili. My friend enjoyed a salad which was big, looked very fresh & I was told was also delicious. Thumbs up to Trasca for the incredible customer service & delicious food. You’re lucky to have this place Jacksonville area peeps!

The specialty at family owned Trasca is the panino. A panino is a sandwich made by spreading out a thin layer of bread made fresh in-house from scratch, adding the desired sandwich ingredients, rolling the dough, baking it, then cutting and serving. We tried three different panino sandwiches: Philly Beef, Classic Club, and Ginsberg’s Peppered Pastrami. Everyone enjoyed their sandwich and each one was big enough that a dieter would only eat half. But the Ginsberg Peppered Pastrami deserves honorable mention. It was delicious, and easily the table favorite. There are other unique tastes at Trasca including craft beer, Puck’s Fountain Beverages made from real cane sugar, and fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea. The Puck’s is worth trying, if you never have, but after sampling three flavors I opted for the sweet tea. Trasca is definitely a unique sandwich experience, and I’m looking forward to trying their pizza.

I would definitely say I’m a fan. We’ve been several times — dine in & take out — and tried a variety of the menu to get a good idea of what we like. This quick service restaurant is a welcome addition to the Sawgrass Village shopping center. I’ve tried the Cracker Pizza, the Spaghetti Pie panino and the Philly Beef panino(twice actually) and liked every bite. Whatever dough they’re using for their panini is quite tasty; a nice glutenous stretch, but crispy on the edge. Stuffed with meats & other goodies each panino is loaded with flavor. I haven’t made it over to the walk up coffee window in the morning yet, but I look forward to trying out a scone soon.
