Fino’s Coney Island

Fino’s is a perfect little coney/​diner that makes all their food fresh made to order. I’ve had many different things from their menu. I take my entire family and always recommend it to my friends. I always get the french toast and my daughter gets the mini breakfast with eggs, meat of her choice potatoes and toast or pancakes all for $ 2.95! We love all their sandwiches. My husband gets the gyro which he has everywhere and really loves it @ Fino’s. My daughter loves the crispy chicken pita or B.L.T…and I love their Reuben. What I’m the most surprised about is their salads. I get a ckn breast salad for $ 5.95 and it’s huge and the vegetables are always cold crisp and delicious. NEVER EVER did I find a single piece of wilted lettuce or mushy tomato or cucumber. I’m always very happy with the taste and portion size of the meal. They know us by name there now and as I observe, they know most patrons by name… welcoming them as they enter. It’s the best place nearby and the only improvment they can make is to be open more hours for our late night cravings!

I love finos. Johnny the owner is quite a character and always keeps people laughing. Friendly place to eat. Almost everyone who goes here is a regular and they have been coming in for years and years. Food is Coney Island fare but definitely tasty and the place is cleaned regularly and thoroughly. If you’re ever in Pontiac, it’s worth a stop!
