Wonderful rest stop. Clean bathrooms, vending machines, picnic tables and a playground for the kids. Emergency tower for police contact located out front just in case.

This place is clean and playful! They have a playground here. And a sight to enjoy! There is a picnic table in the back (if it’s not flooded). And if it is. Don’t drop your phone! It will be a cool dirty lake! The inside is real good! This should be at every rest stop! «This place is real cool! How can there be a coffee machine in a rest stop.»

They wouldn’t let me bring in my giraffe nor would they service my lab top! Geesh! Next time sell ice cream flavors and I will give 5 stars.

You always hear horror stories about rest stops, but this one doesn’t fit the bill. Spotless bathrooms, maintained lawns, free highway maps, well-​appointed picnic area, friendly security patrol… I’m a little sorry I just using it as a, well, rest stop.

1st rest area south of I-​90 Chicago. Much needed break.
I have been here before during my travels along I-​55, and it makes for a pleasant stop.
One of these times I am actually going to read the history here and learn about the surrounding landscape.
