Good service. Maybe it’s Sunday, but man the inefficiency is as good the current bipartisan congress — it took an hour to fill the orders for a half filled restaurant. I can’t imagine the pace when it’s full. But… isn’t that what restaurants are for, operating at capacity so as to make profit? Otherwise, please downscale. It’s not a big town after all. So if you have schedule, you may consider elsewhere.

We got off the ferry and needed a quick bite. We got pad tai and cream cheese won tons to go. The pad tai was just noodles with hardly any sauce. The egg in the pad tai was burned, and so were some of the noodles. There didn’t seem to be any other ingredients other some very questionable chives. The cream cheese won tons were ok until I found a hair in one. This restaurant filled the purpose of keeping us from being hungry on the drive home, barely. Overall I would skip this one in the future.

Went for dinner it was outstanding. Staff very friendly, the owner is walking around helping out. Place is very clean. I had the roasted duck curry outstanding. My mother had the lemongrass lamb out of this world. Irs a must go if you are in Port Angeles.

Excellent, authentic flavors from the dishes at Jasmine Bistro. The ambience is immediately welcoming, and we grabbed a table by the window with ocean views. We started with the curry puff tapas($ 4). Yum! Flaky crust with a rich chicken& potato curry filling and a pickled cucumber onion relish. Really tasty. I got the spicy bail noodles with chicken and hubby got the yellow curry. Both with a 3 out if 5 spice level. The egg noodles were perfect with a great spicy and seasoning, tons of veggies and chicken($ 8.50 small portion). The curry was phenomenal– best yellow curry I’ve had($ 12 full portion). Lots of chicken, Thai eggplant and Thai basil. Really rich, spicy flavor. I could eat the sauce with a spoon(and maybe did)! The lemongrass crème brûlée was too hard to resist, and even though stuffed, it was a perfect ending to the meal.

I just moved into town and decided to stop in here for dinner while on a break from work. Amazing! The food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had the yellow curry with pork. Nice place, nice people, and delicious food. I will be back, often.

This was outstanding, way better than I expected. I ordered the Red Curry with Duck, and it turned out to be sliced boneless fillets of duck, perfectly cooked and perfectly delicious. The curry I asked for spicy(4 out of 5 on their scale) and it had a very nice amount of red pepper in it. The rice was served in a small bowl but I got a free refill; the Thai Iced Coffee was unlimited. Beautiful food, exquisite quality.

My husband and I ride our bikes from Sequim. We were pleasantly surprised with the Tapas and wine. I ordered the Kobe beef sliders and my husband ordered the scallops with avocado. What a delicious treat.

Went there a month ago-CLOSED! Called this afternoon-INBOX FULL! Went by again this evening-CLOSED! I can only concluded Jasmine Bistro has either gone out of business or is going out of business.

Maybe the worst combination of food, service and pricing I’ve ever experienced. The crab wontons were watery on the inside, the fried rice was super greasy and the curry left a lot to be desired and the tofu was served fresh — ick! The food took forever(they weren’t even busy), my water glass was always empty and the meal was expensive. Also no thank you at the end!

Thai places are few and far between in Port Angeles. Luckily, you can add Jasmine Bistro to the short list. Jasmine Bistro is across the street from the CoHo Ferry dock. When I visited there were a few people there, but its likely because word hasn’t quite got out how good this place is. Tom Kah Gai was hot and bubbling with lots of tender chicken and button mushrooms. Flavor was delicious with mild heat. Chicken satay was very good as well. Generous portions for the price. Ok, here’s the bad news… no saki … WHAT? I need my saki when I have Japanese or Thai food. Please JB get some saki on the menu.

Ate here while passing through town and craving Thai food. Such a gem! They have a full regular menu as well as a tapas menu which was nice to be able to try smaller portions of things. We had the wontons(great) and Thom Kha Gai soup which was amazing. Comes served in a big pot warmer for the whole table. Also had the spicy basil noodle with pork which was perfect as well. The noodles melted in your mouth and there were lots of veggies, fresh herbs, etc. Had an iced Thai tea too which was perfectly sweet and nutty. Service was great. Only downside was that this place made us slightly angry with our«home base» Thai restaurant in Austin, TX for not being as good!

Items I tried and loved: — Spring Rolls(veggie rolls served with a pineapple based sauce to dip) — Thai Iced Tea(one of my all time favorites, smokey sweet flavor) — Tom Kha Gai Soup(note: when you order it is enough for the whole table. It is a hot and sour soup with coconut milk.) — Pad Thai with Chicken(noodles, peanuts, chicken, bean sprouts, and sauce. It is a sweeter dish and my favorite one) Their food is amazing. I have been to many Thai restaurants and so far this one has been the best. FORTHOSEOFYOUWITHFOODALLERGIES, make sure to tell them! My mom has issues with shellfish and thought she would be safe with the pad Thai but thankfully we asked first and found out that their sauce has oyster in it. So please make sure to let them know! They do have different options. If you like curry, I was told by a member of my party that their curry is very good. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the noise level is low. The building is small but cozy. It is decorated with many comforts of Thailand(Buddha, elephants, tapestries, etc.). The service is pretty fast considering it looked like there were two waitresses and one cook. I believe they have a full bar also. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I would not bring a large group here though. It would feel too crowded.

If Jasmine Bistro were a local place I’d probably give it 4 stars. But it’s so much better than the type of place you’d expect to encounter in a tourist town like Port Angeles, I think it deserves a 5th. My wife and I went to Jasmine Bistro on a Saturday night along with my sister, her husband and their two kids, and we didn’t experience the slow service that several other reviewers have highlighted. Perhaps the owners have taken that criticism to heart, because we found the service to be quick and courteous. But the true highlight of the place was the food, which was delicious all around. We ordered a number of dishes, including Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai and a couple of curry dishes, and all got thumbs ups from the group. What really stood out for me, though, was their Lemongrass Lamb Chops, which were cooked to perfection. I also appreciated that the cooks respected everyone’s requested spice levels – my wife ordered a curry at their lowest level of spiciness and it came mild, but still flavorful. I ordered the soup at a moderate level of spiciness and it came just as requested. All in all, Jasmie Bistro is a great find and we’d definitely go back. Note that it’s also pretty much across the street from the Black Ball Ferry station to Victoria, B.C., so it’s a nice spot to stop for a meal on your way out or in.

We arrived at Jasmine Bistro on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was fairly busy. We got a table right away however everything went downhill after that. The Thai ice tea tasted like it was out of a can. The portion size of plum wine was soo small and the taste was okay. A little advice. if your food takes longer than 10 to 15 minutes to be served here, just order an appetizer. After waiting 30 minutes, we decided to order appetizer as we were told it was going to take another 10 to 15 minutes. It took roughly 45 minutes to get our meals. I had ordered pad thai thinking you can never go wrong with pad thai at thai restaurant. I was proved wrong! The noodles lacked taste and felt like they were just tossed from water and the chef sprinkled peanuts and oil on it. See the attached photo** Apart from tasteless food and drink, the service was horrible. Not once did our waitress come by to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. They definately need to get extra help on the weekends because cutting it with 2 waitresses is bound to leave unhappy customers.

Pretty good Thai considering every one at the restaurant was none Thai. Two size portions. Tip: small one is ample and I am a big eater. Love the Prad Prik something. It was loaded with tons of crisp green beans teens loved the Thai curries. Looking for a none american meal? This place is a good choice.

An awesome find! The food is fabulous, one of the best Thai restaurant I have ever eaten. Although the service that day was slow(new server?), the food was really good. I was seated where I can actually watch the cook and she was impressive. From what I saw, she was the only one cooking on a busy day. Back to the food, I had the Thai fried rice with shrimp and it was delicious! Make sure to try the tapas, my favorite were the scallops, poke, and shrimp!

Had a fabulous dinner, tons of interesting selection, beautiful simple décor, loved eating up at the bar. Had the sweet potato tapa(simple but tasty), Kobe beef sliders are a most have. Juicy, flavorful, best slider I’ve had in a long time. Main meals were basil noodle and coconut fried rice. Both were spot on. Ask for the chili sauce plate and they will bring u out 4 of their Thai hot sauces and it takes your meal to the next level. Lemongrass crème brûlée perfect ending. Restaurant was slammed at 730pm on a Monday so you know it’s good. I’ll definitely go back

Passing through town today and needed a bite to eat. The girl at the hotel suggested the Landing, but we saw this Thai place as we were heading to the parking lot and decided to check it out! We split some butterflies and a dish of Panang Curry with chicken and brown rice and it was all delicious! Thai iced tea was excellent and we finished it off with a Lemongrass Crème Brûlée! I’d definitely go back for round two if we were going to be here longer!
