Best spot for lunch in Port Angeles! Dove into the Dungeness Crab Melt Panini and a small bowl of Salmon chowder and was beyond pleased! Salmon chowder was sweet but flavorful without adding any pepper :). Crab panini was delicious and the garlic mayo dip brings it to a new level! Friendly service and very polite table runners. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

Never disappoints. The soup is always phenomenal, the sandwiches and salads too. Their espresso is the best in town always consistent and never needs syrup or sugar! Plus my dog loves their treats, no milk bones here only REAL meat trimmings from the kitchen. Truly a great family business! always good service!

This is the best soup place ever! You are missing out if you don’t stop in and let Toga and his awesome staff treat you to the ultimate comfort food. I am not from Washington so this place is a once every other year treat for me on vacation. Always worth the wait! Try the Dungeness crab sandwich and whatever delicious soups are on for the day.

Delicious! It’s a bit pricy but the food and coffee were both really good. I got the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich and my friend got the quiche. The atmosphere was really nice and there are a lot of electrical outlets and nice window seating if you wanted to work on a laptop. We went for lunch and it was pretty busy but the service was still quick.

We liked the food and would have raved about this place at the time, about 4 years ago, but were unable to find it on Unilocal. We were unaware we could have added it ourselves. Now we’re in MD and remembered this place. We especially liked the soups and sandwiches.

Ate here today between meetings for work. Place was cute and warm and inviting and the food was AWESOME! So glad I came here. Service was quick too. I guess they usually don’t do custom make sandwiches, but I have one I make st home that I just LOVE so I asked the lady at the counter if they could do it for me. She is the owner who was cooking and they said of course & humored my custom order gladly! Super awesome place. Was the first place I went into that day that wasn’t super cold. I was really glad because I forgot a jacket and had a lot of paperwork to do before my next meeting. Gobble the food down, didn’t last long lol — but I was able to work in warmth and eat super good food before I went back to the grind. Went back and thanked the owners before I took off. Would def recommend this place if u have never been!

I got the French dip sandwich and a small side of clam chowder when we stopped by here. The sandwich was excellent and of high quality. The clam chowder was fresh and creamy, but the flavor for me personally was a little like a corn chowder which I wasn’t a fan of. My husband liked it though and you can tell it was made fresh. Very nice place.

Perfect lunch spot! Soups from scratch, yummy sandwiches with high quality ingredients and fresh salads with homemade dressings. Don’t forget to have a piece of cake, cheesecake of pastry. Also beer on draft. Bring your growler or buy one there!

Ok, this is only our 2nd time here but it rocked our world. The first time was 5 years ago, and it rocked is then. We had salmon sandwiches and bisque then. Today, my husband got the salmon sandwich, and I got the Dungeness crab panini. Everything was super fresh, very flavorful, and better tasting than we remembered.

We were staying in the loft above the restaurant for our tour of Olympic forest my husband had the Montecristo sandwich which was good I had the Ruben which was the best I ever tasted. The night before I had a Greek salad and the vinaigrette was so good my husband had the Chinese chicken salad which was delicious also the coffee in the morning is the best. For the desserts we tasted a cookie that was so good and a muffin which was delicious. Great place Oh can’t forget the beer great beer on tap

Stumbled across this adorable little place after leaving Lake Crescent… and the food, the service, the patio seating. YES. Best Reuben sandwich we’ve ever had, crab cake sandwich and salmon sandwich were also both ridiculously tasty. Make sure this is on your list when passing through Port Angeles. Good stuff.

Togas is the perfect place to warm up after a rainy day in the Olympic National Park! Plenty of vegetarian options and the staff is really friendly!

With as many great Unilocal reviews and the amount of people working in this kitchen I was excited for a truly fantastic dining experience. Instead we were incredibly disappointed with this stop around the Olympic Peninsula. We ordered a large veggie soup which had a beef base… This made no sense… A vegetarian wouldn’t eat it because the whole point of being vegetarian/vegan is to stay away from animal products. If you’re gonna use a beef base just throw in some meat. In addition, the bowl of soup was smaller than a child sized portion of phở’, yet over $ 8.00. Not ok for a bunch of diced carrots folks! I ordered a $ 10.99 schnitzel sandwich which arrived as a french roll with 3oz. of thinly pounded breaded pork and shrouded in romaine lettuce with a tomato. In addition, I purchased a tiny portion of shrimp bisque since the sandwich was served alone. The tiny bowl of soup was $ 2.99 in addition to my $ 10.99 sandwich and I paid for and ate all of it because I was starving by the time our food arrived. Had I not been so hungry I would have sent every bit of what we ordered back and asked for a refund. With 5 people in kitchen not a single one was able to make a decent soup. That’s pretty unfortunate due to the fact that they advertise themselves as being a soup place. Both soup’s I sampled were comparable to something out of a can. If the menu was kept simple and 3 less people were in the kitchen this business would be able to keep their overhead down and make affordable food that people could eat more often. Everything we ordered was flavorless and overpriced for it’s value. I wouldn’t eat here again if you paid me… A lot. This place get’s «one star» because the saltine crackers were great.

Nice place with good ambiance, right on 101. You order and pay at the counter, then they bring it to your table. Interesting note: there were 3 ladies in front of us(locals, I think) who took over 10 minutes to place their order. It took the 2 of us about 3 minutes… we got our food in less than 10 min after we sat down, and it was hot! My husband had the corn soup and the fresh baked pretzel buns, and he said they were really good. I had the fresh salmon sandwich, which was hot and tasty, and a bowl of the clam chowder. Sadly, the chowder had more potatoes than clams and seemed to have evaporated milk as its base – left a weird aftertaste. :( Service was really friendly. I would come again and just try a different soup.

My husband and I loved this place so much that we went there twice during our 3-day stay at Port Angeles. You’ve got to try the salmon sandwich! The salsa that came with it was also super good. The first time when we were there, I ordered the Dungeness Crab sandwich. It was very tasty but a little too rich for my liking. It was so big that I didn’t have any room left for soup! On the second visit, I tried the soup sampler. The clam chowder was pretty good. Thai curry chicken and veggie minestrone were so so. What made my eyes pop was the garlic bread that came with the meal. So good!

Super cute, classy little café with a cozy interior and a sunny patio. We stopped by due to great Unilocal reviews as we drove from our hike in the Olympia National Forest to Bremerton(ugh). I’m bad at decisions, but another reviewer mentioned a soup flight. Yes! I got this(which the store calls a soup sampler) with Harvest Mushroom, Carrot Ginger, and Veggie Chili soups, plus a slightly overpriced but intriguing cucumber soda. Fantastic, all of it. My friend who got the crab panini seemed enthralled, but I did not get a chance to sample this famous sandwich. Great shop! Definitely stop by if you’re looking for a quick-ish bite amidst a long drive.
