Best Buy

My favorite baby boomer is always asking questions on getting the most out of his technology and sometimes I’m astounded at the inquiries because WTF? Why didn’t I think of that? Headed over to Best Buy to purchase an adapter so he can charge his iPod from the vehicle instead of the computer. I like this forward thinking as it suggests a road trip to California is in his future. Found what he needed with the help of one of the blue shirted people and we’re off to the next errand. Is already used to my driving him around town and happily utters criticisms on my vehicle operating techniques, vaulting me back to the epic failure of my first driving lesson. Good times, people, good times!

My first and last trip to Best Buy!
I went into this store looking for a simple battery charger for my phone (galaxy5s).
I had asked 4 different salespeople where I might find this? I was given 4 different answers and each wasn’t even close.
Finaly after nearly walking completely around that store and getting a bit winded, I had stopped the next salesperson that crossed my path and begged him to please walk me over and show me please.
His name was Chip and he did take awhile to find the charger on his little handheld device.
He said it’s on sale from $ 53. now $ 34.
I thanked him but did mention how unhappy I was that everyone had me running around the store and were not helpful at all.
I then asked Chip «Where is the Manager»?
Chip replyed «I’m the Manager».
wow was I surprised because Chip seemed even less concerned about the Customer than the other morons in Blue Shirts!
Ok, So I wait in line for 10 minutes because the over weight blob of a Cashier was working at the pace of a snail and there was only 1 line.
So I get to the Register (Lucky frickin me) and this waste of life says to me «$ 57.23
I had told her that Chip said it was on sale.
She the worked even slower calling Chip to check the price.
Finaly After wasting 25 minutes of my time on something that would take me 5 min anywhere else I thanked the Lord for giving me strength and vowed never to return.
I LMAO when I read todays paper and saw that Best Buy Stock was the biggest loser yesterday at 9.7%
I know why. LMAO

Picked up my husbands computer on June 5, 2015. I asked the gentleman where the jump drive was because I paid to have the files backed up. He looked confused and then went to the back where they work on computers. After quite awhile he came back and said I must have dropped it when I picked everything up. Several days later my husband was finally able to look at his computer. He sat down to add programs that were lost due to service. This is when he discovered that the frame had beef cracked. He called the store and spoke to a manager about the crack. They deny any wrong doing and would not help. We are totally screwed. We will never buy anything from Best Buy again. Stay away from The Geek Squad. Also, I was assured that all files and pictures would be put back into the computer and they were not!

It really is your basic Best Buy location in Port Charlotte located in an outdoor mall next to Marshall’s and Bed Bath and Beyond. It’s also centrally located to a slew of restaurants including Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Longhorn’s and a few others on the other side of the street.

This Best Buy is actually pretty new and it used to be a Circuit City a couple years ago but this Best Buy is about 4 to 5 years old. The staff is friendly and the geek squad is great

I had to pick up my computer that I left for the Geek Squad tonight. Cory Keene was professional and efficient. He made sure I didn’t leave until we turned on the computer and I checked everything. Port Charlotte FL Best Buy does a great job in customer support.

This is a good, yet little, Best Buy. The associates are always very helpful and they are always looking for me asking if I need help. I find this rather refreshing for a big box retailer. My only issue with this location is, in fact, its location. It is somewhat difficult to get in and out of the strip center where Best Buy is located.
