Marshalls 745

I found a piece of luggage that I wanted at the new Marshall’s in East Naples, opened 4÷1÷16. It was not priced. I wanted another, but No other the same, in the store. Clerk randomly priced, guessed, and made up ticket at $ 49.99.
I found another, exactly the same, size, color, at sister company, TJ Maxx, Naples FL, but priced $ 10 less.
I kept receipts and had both pieces with me when in Port Charlotte Marshall’s for a $ 10 credit. Associate, Diego, refers me to Mgr. Bruce. Bruce says he cannot give me a credit since they are separate stores. This is unreasonable customer service because
1) I may use my TJX charge card at Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, and home goods.
2) I have always previously found same prices between TJ Maxx and Marshalls on fragrance, nightwear, clothing, shoes, luggage etc.
3) Further, it was explained to me that there is no way for Marshall’s to look up a price on a piece of merchandise, IF there is no other just like it in the store. Poor inconsistent pricing system.
4) The first (new store, new associate) clerk randomly made up a price, with no rhyme or reason.

Marshalls is an okay place to shop. I never go in expecting to find a lot of anything in particular. I just go in on a lark to see if some odd piece of clothing may have made it to the clearance center by some chance of if they just happen to have some kind of tchotchkey to adorn my wall or table. I do find enough to return every now and again.

This is a great store for name-​brand clothes for really good prices! Clothing and housewares are very reasonably priced and good quality. They have an ever changing selection of items. Mens, womans and childrens. Love to shop here and always get a bargain!

Love to shop at Marshall’s! The inventory is constantly changing, the staff is friendly and the prices are about as good as it gets. I can’t let a week go by without stopping in.
