Got about $ 600 for $ 200! Organic grapes for $ 2.98, $ 30 cooking oils for $ 9.00, 18 organic eggs for $ 3? Not a bad deal! We could survive a hurricane for only $ 200? Pretty fantastic!

I have been going to the Port Charlotte Sam’s for years and find it very nice. I have never had a problem with the help or products. Was there last week, got my eyes checked and bought a new cell phone; quick response and great customer service. I also buy most of my meat there because it is better than anywhere else.

How do you run a «warehouse store» without a forklift driver on a sunday afternoon? Really we walked out without a $ 350.00 smoker and watched at least 4 other families leave without what they came for as well. So much for birthday shopping…

This is a very well run store. The produce is fresh and the grocery items are well stocked on the shelves. Nice location

wow, just wow. We’ve just recently moved to North Port and everyone has been really nice. Until today. We decided to go to Sam’s Club to decide if we wanted to join or not. First, an employee came up to several of us standing in line at customer service … she had a cart and just about ran all of us over. Yelling how the line was in the wrong place. I thought maybe she had been in a crappy mood so I wasn’t going to worry. Then I got to the counter to talk to the lady about what I wanted(just to stroll around and decide if we wanted to join or not) and this one acted like I was asking for her first born. She was just as nasty. I guess I’ll join Costco instead.

Have a real issue with the tire department. Although you do save some money it is not worth the time and hassle for the $ 10 – 20 per tire you save. We went in to buy 4 new tires. The kid at the counter was helpful and fairly knowledgeable. We were told it would take about 45-to one hour for the job to be done. That was fine. After an hour, we went back and checked and they had not even pulled our car in. It went down hill from there. We waited outside and 3 tires had been put on the car. It took over 30 minutes to get the last tire on because the guy kept getting interrupted. We went in as he was putting the lug nuts on the last tire and there is no one at the counter. In fact, there is no one in the dept. at all & they are still working on customers cars. This was at about 4:30 and the department is open until 6. We had to call a manager to get our keys so we could leave. As long as a department in open, it should be staffed. That is the poorest, most ill thought out customer service I have ever seen. I highly doubt we will purchase tires there ever again.

The usual. Why can’t we rate businesses without having to write reviews?

Very clean, organized, and has self checkout! Fantastic option. One staff member we talked to wasn’t helpful at all, the other was super! I guess it just depends on who you get.

The only Sams where the cashiers wear a rolex. It took me a bit to figure this one out; and then I came to the conclusion: If you lived as a retired person in Port Charlotte, you would be looking to work too due to the lack of things to do and the ensuing boredom. Enough about Port Charlotte, though. This is your typical, run-of-the-mill Sam’s. It is a tad smaller than many, but not THE smallest I have been in. Due to the frugality of many of the retirees in the area, there is a fairly decent fresh fruit and veggies section as well as a decent fresh meat selection. The product is slightly geared toward the median age of Port Charlotte(65y/o), so don’t be surprised if you see an end-cap displaying depends undergarments in bulk.
