This place is the real deal. Excellent margaritas and authentic Mexican served with a smile. Stopped in before the Grateful Dead simulcast at the Capitol Theater. Dark inside and filled with Latinos enjoying themselves on a Friday night. Smells, looks and feels like a couple joints I visited in Baja a couple years ago. The food was fresh, the sauces were excellent and the service was attentive and friendly. Great jukebox in the back room, too. Highly recommended.

I’m surprised I haven’t been here much sooner! Let’s get the few negatives out of the way first: It is WAY too loud. They have the music blaring to the point that you cannot talk at your table. It is WAY too dark. It’s actually difficult to read the menu. It is WAY too cold. It was necessary to eat dinner with winter coats on… NOT a fan of the atmosphere… From here, it’s all good: The food is substantial, authentic, homestyle Mexican. The menu is extensive. It goes on and on. To boot, they will make anything you ask for, even if it’s not on the menu! THAT is first class! The sangría was excellent. It was made with a very rich red wine, and had hints of all sorts of fruits to it. We ordered the nachos con queso(con todo) based on other Unilocalers’ reviews. They are a meal alone. They are topped with mounds of cheese, jalapeños, onions, avocado, pintos and even some radish! For dinner I ate the enchiladas remolladas with chicken and salsa roja. The portions are HUGE. The dinner came with FOUR enchiladas on the plate, smothered in salsa roja, and topped with huge slices of avocado and cheese. The dinner came with yellow rice and pinto beans. All very good comfort food. I really wanted to try dessert, but everyone was left with no room to spare. The prices are very, very reasonable, especially considering the size of the portions. They have a parking lot behind the restaurant making it very convenient. Service is second-to-none. I’ve been on a tour of Mexican restaurants of Port Chester for a few months now. So far, this is the best one I’ve found; and, I’ll definitely be returning. I highly recommend this one. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the atmosphere, as I addressed at the beginning of my review.

The service was not«the best.» The waitress was not friendly but was attentive. I ordered 2 tacos(chorizo) and a burrito(carnitas). My wife ordered chicken tostadas. The chorizo was over cooked. The burrito lacked flavor and the chicken tostadas were stale. Never going back!

We had dinner at Kiosko before a show at the Capitol Theater and it was delicious. The Kiosko nachos were the best I have ever had! There are a lot of choices for Mexican food in Port Chester and this place is the top choice.

Awesome food and beautifully presented. It’s obvious that the chef and the wait staff care very much about the whole dining experience. Beef floutas and mole enchiladas are wonderful!

While you can find much better salsa and margaritas at other Port Chester Mexican places, the chicken enchiladas suizas are delicious here. The veggie chimichanga is good as well. The nachos and chicken parm(really?) both look delicious too. Add in the chilled out back patio and nice waitstaff, this place earns my five stars.

This is my favorite restaurant. I eat there weekly, have never had a less than exsquisite experience. The food is absolutely incredible. Chicken tacos to die for, the best chimichamga I have ever had, fajitas blew me away, cheese flautas are unreal… and the flan. We always order one to split, but rarely make it out without ordering a second.

FIRSTOFALL, THEYMADETHEBESTFLANIVEEVERHADINMYLIFE!!! BUT, LEAVEAFTERTHAT! They served us some watery-ass salsa with Parsley, NOT Clinatro. I know it was homemade, but it was too watery, nothing covered your chip. Waitress doesnt speak English well enough. It was like she was in a coma. I must say that the nachos as our appetizer were pretty good, They were loaded on top AND underneath for a change. No bald nachos to be found. The were covered with beef, chicken, and some kind of sweet pork, almost a cross between chorizo and chinese BBQ. We were dying for Frozen Margheritas, but they were so bland and boring. Then we just had dessert. They give huge two pieces of fried ice cream, always good, but the flan was too die for! I might have to go back just for that, Im not kidding. It was light and creamy, like a crème brûlée. Really the best ever. Im sad about that. I wish everything was good, but watevs. The search for awesome Mexican continues… Ola!!!

My girlfriend and I stopped here for a little Friday dinner and came away with a new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The beef quesadillas were an amazing appetizer. I got the chile relleno, which was solid, and she got the mariscos a la mexicana, which was reeeaally good. And oh yeah, $ 4 Coronas. We’ll definitely be back.

I went here with a few of my friends who were feeling adventurous. The first step is finding parking, once that is solved walk right in. The servers will seat you pretty soon once they see you sitting there and give you menus. All of the staff and a good portion of the people here looked Hispanic and I could tell from the menu that they had a lot of authentic dishes. The servers paid attention to us when we gave the usual cues of having out menus down and they brought us water and food in a timely manner. I felt the service was exactly what I would expect at a place like Kiosko. Between us we ordered some more standard dishes plus a goat dish to share to be more adventurous. The food was solid, very similar to other Mexican restaurants. This delivers exactly on what you expect it to, a low to mid priced authentic Mexican restaurant.

In my opinion, this is the best mid-price Mexican in Port Chester and the surrounding towns. The food is fresh, authentic and the service is freindly and quick. They also cater to individual tastes and will change up a dish upon request. If ou love Mexican, give this place a try!

food and drinks was good. I had shrimp in mojo. The nacho appetizer was above average for this standard dish. The reason for my low rating was because the best tables where reserved by the owner. This is because he wanted his wait staff to be in one place. This seemed very bizarre to me. What happened to customer service first wont be back for sure.

This half-Mexican is very satisfied with Kiosko… I went two times in one week! Really good skirt steak, rice and beans. And really good tortas. Staff is very friendly, open late!

Just had my first experience with Kiosko — and I will be having MANY more. Just moving to NY and struggling to find good Mexican food, trying a few here and there, I was less than impressed thus far.(Tough order to fill realistically, my fiancé is Mexican. And a chef. And a super picky critic when it comes to Mexican food.) We saw a few ratings for Kiosko and the fiancé rolled out to go grab some take out. Wasn’t too busy when he arrived, so he placed the order and chatted with the owner who has been there six years and was very nice. He brought the order home which was prepared quickly and we dug in. Wow. I had a veggie burrito with beans and rice, huge portion, hot, and absolutely freaking delicious. For serious. It could have fed me for two days, stuffed full of veggies, delicious sauce and cheese, beans and rice were GREAT. I was in heaven. My better half loved his too, ate everything, and wants to go back. And CHEAP. Less than $ 10 a meal! Needless to say, I will be back, he will be back, AWESOME. If you haven’t been GO. Go now. You won’t be sorry and you will be very, very full. With a smile! Next time I am eating in and trying some of the drinks with my meal… :)

Place was clean, service was friendly, food was fantastic. I have to say… on behalf of my stomach and I, I was a happy customer. I would love to return and try their chile relleno. The couple behind me ordered it and it looked fantastic. The prices were extremely reasonable. Loved their flan, too, but alas… no mint leaf. :-(

I knew that this place was going to be good when I walked in and the majority of customers were Mexican. I was not disappointed either! I went here for dinner and could not decide what to order off the huge menu. Granted they have some options on the menu that aren’t typical Mexican dishes(chimichangas), but from what I saw on my husband’s plate — you wouldn’t be disappointed by getting it. I opted for sopes and thought I’d get a plate of tiny little sopes like I’m used to, but these were huge, filling and delicious. The salsa was perfectly spicy and the sope was freshly made from masa and topped with tasty meat(beef). I could barely finish my dish! Granted I had a huge(and awesome) Pina Colada with dinner… Stop in for lunch/dinner/whatever. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food you won’t be disappointed!
