Great place. Great atmosphere. I had the skirt steak tacos and I can say without hyperbole they were the best tacos I’ve ever had! Love this place.

Absolutely amazing! Service is ON POINt! Went the Friday before Valentine’s day. It was amazing! The owner Katy is such a doll. Our oysters were absolutely delicious! I can’t say a bad thing about this place! Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Had take out today for lunch, the Gumbo was great. Can’t wait to go in, sit down for a drink and try something else on the menu.

I ate here for a holiday party for my job. Parking lot on side street which is better than having to look for parking in the street so I’d say location is great. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly lady. It was very hot inside the restaurant. we had a large group and our tables were spread out so they accommodated us and pushed them all together but forget to give some of the tables bread. They took a little long to take our orders however the food came rather quickly. The food was amazing! I would definitely return to Café mirage.

Hit the new Café Mirage tonight. Place is simply excellent. Tuna burger was amazing and my wife’s jerk chicken tacos were great. Very kid friendly as my 8 year old son and 6 year old said the kid burger and Mac and cheese were the best they ever had. A must stop and great addition to the area.

I hope this place can pull it together. It’s a block from our apartment and it’d be a nice addition to the neighborhood if they can step it up a bit and work out the kinks. The space isn’t totally filled out(bare walls), and the bar isn’t fully stocked yet, BUT the staff is pleasant and the service was reasonably quick once they got the drinks figured out. I know it juuuust opened(hence the 3 stars, because I don’t want to completely slam a place that just opened), but the food… ugh. The menu looked decent enough, but the execution, at least on what we ordered, was not great. Buffalo Burger: Ordered medium rare, came out well done. Super dry(which is at least somewhat understandable as it’s leaner than beef) and seemed pre-formed, but that could be because they cooked the life out of it. All I could taste was the char on the burger, even with the generous amount of confit onions, habanero bbq, bacon(which was crispy and delicious) and cheddar. It was actually hard to bite through the charred outer layer, which was like 90% of the burger. The Kaiser roll it came on wouldn’t do a good burger justice anyway. Jerk chicken sandwich: Ordered without mayo, came with mayo. Not the end of the world, and the flavor of the chicken was pretty good, but again, the Kaiser roll wasn’t quite right and there was too much char going on. Brussels sprouts: Sauce was good, but watery. They would have been a lot better if they were roasted instead of steamed. Admittedly, we probably should have let our server know that our food wasn’t great, but we were both not in the mood to deal with it. Really hope to see some better reviews on here in the coming months so we can give it another shot.

Extremely noisy even though tables are well spaced. I thought the food was nothing special. Strange menu with a mixture of curry dishes and Latin dishes. Disappointed that there were no soups or pastas on the menu. My skirt steak with green peppercorn sauce was nothing special. The sauce was bland and the steak chewy. Their burger is served on a bready kaiser roll that is too large for the patty. Service was fine. I don’t think I would go back. Too many better options in Port Chester now.
