I am so disappointed that this place closed as I don’t know of any other chinese restaurants in the area that are any good. Ricky, if you are reading this, let us know your future plans and if you are opening anywhere else

Walked in during lunch hours and was greeted immediately. Noticed only two other tables were occupied, which was fine by me, but in hindsight the lack of patrons was a sign. Anyway, very attentive server, who promptly asked if I would like some hot tea. Tea, plus fresh fried crispity, crunchy wontons and duck sauce were immediately provided. Chinese Roast Pork Baos with onion marmalade? Yes, please. I’ve read the fluffy pillow reference made for other baos, but this is my first time actually experiencing that reference. These Chinese Baos [$ 5.50] fit that category. They were so pillowy and delicate, they had my head reeling at first bite. The pork in these fluffy pillows were fresh and lean, yet tender with a teeny bit of fattiness and a splintering touch of char on both the pork and the grilled onions, all three ingredients were perfect. They are a complete contrast from the quarter inch thick pork belly baos served by other Asian restaurants, definitely a nice change… Four stars for those Baos! The only negative and it wasn’t really a big negative for me, because I’ve experienced much worse. It was getting to their one bathroom. You had to access the bathroom by going through the kitchen and maneuver trying not to get in the way of the workers and crates of veggies and stuff. Going towards the bathroom felt like being in one of those Asian movies, where you’re trying to escape through the kitchen, out the back screen door, because you’re being chased by some deranged mad man… me and my crazy imagination. Anywho, accessing the bathroom that way was cool as it added to the experience in my opinion. Well, with all of that said, I would come back, but that won’t be happening because now they are closed for business. Womp… womp.

unassuming small stand alone with delicious food, using fresh ingredients, made by a chef who cares about food, value and service. Always better to eat there, but, having just finished yet another terrific take out meal, I have to say no one does it better.

Good food here. Pretty basic Chinese, the food is cooked and hot when the serve it. Restaurant is clean and service is good. We got the sesame chicken and the fried rice. Large portions and priced well.

We had the sole and the chicken with broccoli as well as their pork dumplings. Everything was delicious, freshly made, and hot! The dishes weren’t greasy as you might expect and it was all just yummy. The staff was fast, attentive, and working very hard. Looking forward to going back.

This place is fantastic! We are a large corporate financial office in Greenwich who desperately needed a good Chinese caterer. Ricky and his team did an absolutely amazing job at delivering steaming hot delicious food and on time! We host on average about 3 catered lunches a week from different caterers, so I know how some caterers can be. Ricky is professional and so very accommodating. Anytime I order any catering there are always going to be people in the office who love it and some who don’t…with Sichuan pavilion EVERYONE loved this food. We had about 10 pans of food that cleared in less than 15 minutes. I’m already looking at my calendar to see what other days we can have them cater again. Can’t go wrong with this place. Perfect ratio of vegetables to meat, perfect sauce to food ratio. Very Happy!

Best Chinese in Westchester. Worth every cent! Not much ambience but it’s Chinese food. Delicious specials from a young passionate chef who has some killer ideas given half a chance to go off– menu. Won’t go anywhere else! Delivery for crying out loud. Seamless? Grub Hub? Come on guys— ridiculous.

I came here with my wife(she has gluten issues) and the food was amazing! I try to be as supportive as possible when it comes to ordering gluten free food so I have tried quite a few dishes and normally… let’s just say that I’m a supportive husband. But this gluten free food was AMAZING. I’m not kidding. The prawns were huge, the sauce was nearly identical to the normal version of itself and the calamari appetizer was first rate(it was prepared gluten free as well). If you’re looking for gluten free Chinese, Sichuan is definitely worth their trip. This is our new go to Chinese restaurant in Westchester.

The food here is excessively greasy. The restaurant was almost entirely empty and the owner(the heavy set guy) and the waiter(the older guy with glasses) were unnecessarily obnoxious and rude. Every time I pass by, the dining room(which is tiny) is mostly empty. I would not be surprised if this place is out of business in less than a year. If you are looking for greasy Chinese food with a rude staff, but no wait to be seated, this place is for you!

I ordered the kung pao chicken it was very good except that it only contained chicken, water chestnut, a lot of water chestnut, and peanuts. I expect a little bit more vegetable variety in my kung pao chicken. This dish is not worth getting unless you’re going to get a side entrée of vegetables.

Definitely worth a trip if you’re ever in the area. Mouth-watering food! We were expecting mediocre Chinese food and expecting to take some home… despite both of us not being that hungry, we finished the entrees! The Teriyaki Steak Skewers were a delicious app and I loved the Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken & Shrimp Sichaun Style. We opted to order brown rice instead of white and were not disappointed. Service was excellent and the restaurant just had a great vibe altogether.

Believe the hype, this place is awesome. We had amazing Mu Shu vegetables and hot and sour soup, and the service was fast and great.

Well I have been coming here for over 20 years and the food is still consistently good. Great service and nice atmosphere. Still one of the best restaurant around for a solid Chinese meal

Excellent food and service! I was slightly skeptical at the beginning. I’m pretty picky when it comes to Chinese food but I was blown away by the fried calamari(appetizer). The yang chau fried rice was quite good too.

Love the food. Ate here and did take out for years. Went once with my husband and ordered one dish as we were not very hungry. We were told that we had to order more. We could not stay if we did not order another entrée. We left and never returned.

Great food served by a friendly owner! You won’t be disappointed in Sichuan Pavilion. The worst part is finding parking around the restaurant, and with another Chinese place 50 feet away, don’t be fooled by the imitators. SP is the real Slim Shady. Once inside the small space you’ll be warmly greeted by the owner. Eating in can be a treat, especially if you engage him. He is delighted to share his thoughts on the menu, making great suggestions and generally making you feel like you’re at home, and he seems particularly interested in pleasing his Unilocaling customers. Food is terrific, too. Steamed Sichuan dumplings, served steamed only, are beautifully presented as little pillows of homemade goodness bathed in a slightly sweet soy-hoisin type sauce. Delicious and beautiful, too. For unique and terrific try the Ja Jiang Mein. Ask for the cook to make it spicy! This dish brings ramen noodles topped with minced pork, bean sprouts, green peas & onions in a hoisin infused chili sauce Think of it as Chinese bolognese! Sichuan Pavilion is an excellent mom and pop local place that you will definitely enjoy!

Pleasantly surprised about this restaurant. We’ve always passed by this place and you can see through the window that they are always packed. now, we know why. The reviews are on point, the food is delicious and the service is great. We had wonton soup, dumplings, bao and the shredded beef. Can’t wait to go back and try the other dishes!

This is one of the reasons why I love the voucher system. I get to try out establishments that I wouldn’t otherwise even know existed. My hubby and I used a takeout voucher and ordered a load of food. I saw online, that they had Crab Puffs with a Truffle Aioli and I have to say, just seeing that had me intrigued. We decided to drive to SP and order the takeout but also order a few items to try on location. After having the Crab Puffs, which were a contemporary take on crab cakes, I knew I had to try their Foie Dumplings… YESH, I said FOIE! In a Chinese food restaurant… yesh :) Chef Ricky came to our table, where we delighted in their delicacies, and he explained his way of cooking to us. You have got to love his passion. I can’t wait to go back and dine in. The food we had as take out was tasty but there’s nothing like eating a meal as soon as it is prepared. Both the crab puffs and the foie dumplings were weekly specials that they have a change every few weeks so definitely try them out ever so often to check out the new stuff.
