Danny’s in Rye Brook is my go to bike shop. I travel extra miles to visit Dio and his team of pros. Customer service is friendly, fantastic and a one-on-one experience. Any issues with my bike are thoroughly explained and I never feel that I’m being over-sold. They catch issues that I would not normally see and are always concerned about safety. Can’t beat the unlimited tune-ups when you purchase your bike from Danny’s. My next new bike (hopefully soon) will certainly be from Danny’s in Rye Brook. It’s all about quality customer service — great manager, great team!

I have watched this location morph from a friendly, local shop to a meticulous, well-organized, customer-driven business. At one time, the shop merely had a «mom and pop» charm; while the manager creates a warm and friendly atmosphere, he does so while maintaining a professional and «the customer is always right» business. He seems to know everything that happens within those 4 walls from inventory, to repairs, to sales, to product specs. Hands on? Bear hug is more like it. Kudos to Danny’s and their manager Dio for finding the right balance between customer service and business management. I guess that’s why I send everyone I know and why I’ve bought 2 bikes in just the last year at Danny’s Rye Brook.

I have had only positive experiences at Danny’s. The manager as well as the staff have been helpful over a long period of time to myself as well as others I have refereed. I recently bought a new bike through the store and the experience could not have gone better! The guys really care about the bikes and their customers which is rare and very appreciated. If you want guys who know what they are doing and treat you well, this is a great shop!

I rarely write a review on Unilocal,but felt that Danny’s Cycles of Rye Brook deserved one today. I brought in a recently purchased used Trek bicycle for a few small touch ups from the repair dept, and all of the employees in the shop were very attentive and helpful, going above and beyond expectations. I will be back soon.

I have only been here twice, but both times were awesome.
Both times the guy knew what he was talking about and made sure I purchased what I needed and nothing I didn’t need. I only take spinning classes right now, but I mentioned that I might start riding outdoors once it is warmer. He was able to tell me what I should look for in a bike, what the price will most likely be for a decent one (and told me when they will probably have their next sale), and how many years I should expect to get out of a bike. I totally appreciate the information overload and that he didn’t pressure me into buying something (in fact he kind of insured that I didn’t make an unnecessary purchase).
Definitely recommend this place!
