Extremely long wait for 2 lattes. Not worth the wait. Tasted like hot milk. No coffee and no caramel flavor. Don’t waste your time here.

This was a delightful find! Homemade sandwiches delivered to a cute patio eating area. The baked beans were excellent as well as the coffee. Friendly staff and very clean.

Was up in area for the day with friends. We went to Rudders purely on Unilocal reviews. We all enjoyed it, but was expecting a little nicer. Food was good, but was looking for a place where with waitstaff. Having to order at counter was sort of a turn off. Patio was sufficient and food came out quickly. The gift shop was nice to peruse.

Staying right up the road and I came here twice in one day. Cool little store with household decorating stuff(if your into the nautical theme). They’re pretty trusting. Didn’t see any cashier or register anywhere. Guess you pay in the deli part. Great beer selection. The GLBC display was nice to see! Only thing that I would fault is it expensive. We split one pastrami sandwich and a beer and it was 15 bux. Guess they have ya by the nuts up here though. Where else ya gonna go? Very nice people, but its a tad pricey for me…

Great local place with great sandwich and soup options. Also, great shop for special treats and novelty items. We live in Port Clinton on s seasonal basis and always go to Rudders.

This is a great deli/gift shop on Catawba. The owners make all the salads(wasabi tuna for example) themselves and the sandwiches are delish! Coffee and scone for breakfast! They have that and a whole lot more! They are a little pricey but they use quality ingredients. The gifts are eclectic and unique and you can even stock up on wine, snacks and beer on your way to spend the day on a boat. They’re only open April to October(or thereabouts) but if you’re in town to take advantage of our beautiful shoreline, you can’t miss grabbing lunch at Rudders!

Such a great find! This place is adorable– cute little deli/shop. We had great sandwiches, while sitting out on the patio. My girls had fun playing board games, while we browsed the shops and just hung out. The chicken salad and tuna salad were both delicious!

We tried some baked goods on our trip, and they were great. Definitely want to go back for some deli sandwiches. The people working there were extremely friendly, really made us feel like they appreciated our business.

Great deli… Fresh food, great choices. We stopped for lunch on the way to Put in Bay and loved the little shops. Great kid choices too! We loved eating on the deck outside. Very friendly staff and quick service.

I like this place bc it is the only place I can think of where you can get a bite to eat and not feel lethargic for the rest of the day. It has a nice ambiance/decorative! The area is more known for its beer/pub type food and it is nice to find a place that is nice, fresh and light. I would give it more stars, but the sandwiches just need a little more flavor to them and they don’t heat your sides(baked beans are served cold). I have not had their coffee, but it sure does smell good. It’s pretty good so I’ll be back!

Perfect breakfast spot on a nice morning. We rode our bikes there(convenient rack for parking) and had wraps, oatmeal, pastries and great coffee. Vegan options too. Not cheap, but not crazy either. Great unique stuff for sale in the gift shop.

Excellent! Easy to drive by, but this place is as charming as can be. The service is quick and very friendly, and while you wait for your food you can browse the interesting selection of gourmet food and drink in their little market area. There is also a separate store with knickknacks and the standard islandy themed stuff. They have a sandwich menu, homemade sides and good iced tea. For breakfast they have some pretty decent pastries and good coffee. Nice place to chat over lunch(shaded outdoor courtyard with tables, too), and they have board games lying around if you have a little extra time.
