Westerlund Tree Service

I found Westerlund tree service on a fluke after a tree hit my house during a windstorm. They were the only ones that answered the phone on what I assume was an insane Saturday since there were a lot of fallen trees. John answered the phone and was very sympathetic and offered to juggle around some of his other appointments so that he could come over and see the damage. His crew came over two days after the initial inspection to remove the tree but before they got started, John walked me through exactly what was going to happen and even told me to have the rest of the tree removed because it was a safety hazard which I didn’t even think about. They got the tree off of my house that day and cleaned up after themselves which was awesome. They also left some tarp behind so I could cover the holes in my roof since I was using garbage bags and weights (guess I wasn’t prepared) and then came back to get them after I got the roof patched up. I ended up having to get my property surveyed since we weren’t sure if the tree was on our side or the neighbors and he didn’t want us to get in trouble. After we determined it was all on our side, his team came back out the next day to remove the rest of the tree. I will definitely use Westerlund again for any and all tree needs that I have (and I am sure there will be others with 2.5 acres of wooded property) because they were professional, very experienced, fast, clean and reasonably priced. Why no one has left a review of Westerlund Tree Service yet is crazy. John Westerlund has done tree removal on our property on and off for about 10 years. He is extremely professional and his quotes have often been a little higher than the final bill. His crews are quite professional, experienced and fast. I could continue to rave but it is tree removal so there isn’t much left to say except that I wouldn’t hesitate to hire this company and I wouldn’t hesitate buy John Westerlund a beer (or coffee at Central Mkt.) any day of the week.
