My favorite pizza place in Ventura county. I live near by and always love coming here for there lunch special. My favorite the calzone. They got the best tasting pizza I’ve ever tried.

Not too bad on the pocket but you get what you paid for. My buddy order a cheese calson and literally looked like it was missing the cheese! the marinara sauce I asked for came from a small heinz plastic container, and my Canadian bacon was actually deli meat ham.

Not my favorite pizza. I felt the place wasn’t so sanitary for my family and I. Also employee at the cash register. No patience and a little rude.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street and was craving something to eat after a long day of driving. Discovered PizzaMan and boy was it good. Was quite hesitant in trying after reading about the bad customer service but it the was opposite. Staff were helpful and the small pizza we ordered was so good. Price wasn’t that bad at all.
Ordered: Small Olive Sausage mushroom
Sandwich: Meatball Sandwich

I came in tonight specifically looking for something to buy a homeless person food. I spoke with an older gentleman at the register and told him why I was coming in there. He said he didn’t have anything cause they will keep coming back. Like really?! It’s freezing outside and I was looking for something to buy someone who has nothing. I left without buying anything and will never from this location.

Decided to give Pizza man Dan a try, most likely won’t go back, unless I’m really craving it or want some bad customer service. I get to the spot no one acknowledged that I was there over 5 employees working and looking at me but no one said hi or be right with you till about a few minutes of standing there a guy from the back makes his way up like if he really doesn’t want to be there. A girl takes over him trying to attend me, gives me change and I said thank you, to get no reply or a enjoy. Wish they were more friendly like toppers employees since pizza man Dan’s is right down the street. But I’ll take the extra time to make my way over to toppers next time. By the way did not look busy only a couple guys eating inside I expect more from a pizza owner who loves making videos and seems pretty friendly.

My family and I just had dinner at this place for the 1^st time tonight. I was not impressed with the cashier as I feel she has an attitude. I was specific with my order; 2 med pepperoni pizza, one of them with bacon, 2 medium gluten-​free, 1 med BBQ chicken, 1 large special, jalapeño popper and 5 fountain drinks because I wanted water only. There were 6 of us and she only gave us 5 cups. When we asked for a cup she said she only gave 5 because I want water only. How does she expect me to drink water? I think after spending $ 115, I deserve a clean glass for my water. So my order arrived and there were 2 med pepperoni and 1 med with bacon only. The rest of my order is correct. So I figured that’s the reason why my bill is so high. I think she should have went through the order before processing it. It’s a done deal now and just not pleased with this place.

I love pizza man dan because of there wings! I am a wing fanatic and those by far have the best sauce, they are #1 on my list right now! I do not however like the prices of the pizzas I avoid getting anything else besides wings becuz of the prices I paid about 60 one time for a large pizza and medium wings! I will not however stop going as long as the sauce ingredients of the wings they have doesn’t change!

I ordered the taco pizza, garlic cheese bread, hot wings and salad bar.
The taco pizza was good but I modified my order and they messed it up. It’s always a disappointment to be expecting one thing and get another. Definitely very filling pizza. I think they did a good job tryi ng to make the pizza into a taco minus the doritos on top.
Garlic cheese bread was that cheesy, fatty, salty, savory dish everyone wants to eat but not talk about it. This would be one of my favorite closet foods to order from them.
The wings were pretty standard. Better than domino’s or Pizza Hut but not quiet as good as a brewery.
I honestly loved the salad bar. I love making my own salads and they did a really good job picking out the toppings.
I can see why they are giving Toppers a run for their money. I personally wish that I could get Toppers carnitas pizza with Pizza Man Dan garlic cheese bread. It is probabaly for the better that my wish remain a wish other wise I would be quiet large.

I been ordering from this place for a month every day I spend at least 35 $ then today they mistake my order and I called back, this stupid girls answering me with attitude like she is giving me pizza for free, then she bs me with 15% off when they owe me a pizza I paid for. Very shady ppl will never do business there. It’s there lost they just lost 700 $ a month from one customer and his friends

OMG! This place ROCKS! I placed my order online (super easy, convenient, and inexpensive.) I got a personal pizza (thin crust bbq sauce with chicken & red onions) yummmmm! I also ordered a salad to go– to my surprise when I went to pick it up, they said I could either help myself to the salad bar and select whatever I wanted or they’d be happy to make it for me (I made my own) The pizza was hot & ready when I got there, employees were friendly, food was delicious– will be back here for sure next time I’m in town. I HIGHLY recommend this spot. This would also be a great place to pick up a pizza/​salad/​sandwich for a picnic just a few blocks away.

Didn’t try the pizza, got a sandwich, half a sandwich and it wasn’t too small, good size and plenty of meat, cheese and veggies. Cheesy bread portion was big too. Plenty of cheese. And they give a military discount! Whoop whoop!

Three stars because it’s so expensive but the service is good. The food is like toppers mixed with pizza hut. It is local and I support local business so we order here sometimes. If you want something different other than common pizza flavor then try this out and you might want to order more. They used to be rusty’s but now its a different name…

I love going to his place right here in Port Hueneme. The pizza and the salad bar are great and the place has plenty of space to seat a lot of people. They also have karaōke and you always hear people singing. The employees are friendly and best of all you can buy pitchers of beer to go along with your meal. i recommend this location its always a good time when i go.

Pizza is good but I was shocked when I paid $ 2.35 for a soda thinking it was the LARGE size and then the staff hands me a tiny little cup that most restaurants give you for free water! I asked if that was a mistake but she said“no”, the large is $ 3.80! I know they can’t sell it for a dollar like they do at McDonalds but that is highway robbery! I could have bought a whole liter at the grocery store next door for $ 1. 99. If I come back I definitely won’t be ordering soda here!

This is probably the best pizza I ever had. Went last night and ordered 4 pepperoni /​sausage slices. Everything about it was perfect. The cheese was the right amount of melted. Pizza wasn’t too dough-​ie. The pepperoni and sausage was to die for.
As far as the other things in this place :
Beer on draft.
Arcade machines.
Ample seating.
Salad bar.

Ordered mid week in late November while on business. Overall, pizza was edible and delivery was amazing.
Pizza:
We ordered a large meatball thick crust pie. The cheese and sauce were nothing special. The crust was reminiscent of pizza hut; crispy bottom with about ½ inch of bland dough. The sauce (standard marinara) has a sweet tamg to it which was nice. Cheese was excellent; well cooked and strechy. The meatball topping was sliced meatballs which tasted premade (frozen). The sliced meetballs were not bad, but no special spice or flavor stood out as unique.
In summary, the pizza was nothing special; the bland crust and standard toppings check the box to fill a pizza craving, but the delivery service is stellar! Service puts local competition, like Toppers, to shame. I would order here again if i was hungry for pizza, amd did not want to move out of my seat for delivery. Great!
Delivery:
I used the eat24 android app to make this order. I specified that i was staying at a local hotel, a was sated in the bar. Amazingly, the delivery man actually brought our order through the lobby and sought me out in the bar to deliver the pie. Wow! Delivery to my table within a bar within a hotel?! Amazing! He even brought plates, cheese and hot pepprer toppings, and napkins. Wow!

Husband described this pizza as «the best» he ever had. The thin crust pepperoni was to die for. And let’s be real. I DO NOT normally like thin crust! The bottom crust was crisp and was topping by another layer of fluffy dough. Ample cheese and pepperoni makes this the best slice in town.

Their thin-​crust pepperoni pizza simply crushes the competition. Great selection on the menu and friendly service. If I’m in the area again I would definitely pay them a visit.
Pros: Open late, plenty of seating, Arcade games, and karaōke!

It’s pizza. What more can I say. I like it because every time I’ve been, the pizza wasn’t super saucy. I HATE saucy pizza. Not a huge wing person but the wings here are good.
I like it the most because it’s close to home and it’s usually reasonably priced. Even better is they ALWAYS have coupons. Honestly, I can just tell them I have a coupon (even though I don’t) and they’ll honor it.
Not sure if the dude who always helps me is the owner or what but he’s pretty chill. Thumbs up to him.
Also, I really liked their potatoes. They’re no mojo’s from Shakey’s but they get the job done.
