Great breakfast. I had a Greek omelet that was too much to eat but very good. Friendly w aitstaff and old downtown atmosphere.

The Port Huron area is blessed with a number of locally owned places that turn out a great breakfast. This is our favorite in downtown. it’s right across the street from McMorran Auditorium. Maria and George became the new owners of this place, formerly called Tony’s Food Paradise, in March 2015, bringing years of restaurant experience. Maria’s three-egg omelette is a huge amount of food, but you can order it with two eggs instead(and still get plenty to eat). The French toast is delightful. The fruit plate better than ordinary. You’ll find some innovative choices on the menu. The service is friendly and attentive. You can’t go wrong choosing Maria’s Downtown Café for breakfast. And probably for lunch, too, though we haven’t tried it yet.
