Cress arranged the flowers for my mother’s funeral this fall. Liz Guido was very thoughtful and gracious with her questions and with integrating our responses and thoughts into the casket tribute and wreaths our family ordered. Cress had previously done a spectacular tropicals/​orchid arrangement for my mother’s 90^th birthday in May, which thrilled my mother and was the talk of the staff at her continuing care community. I highly recommend this florist.

Awful. Bought a rose on Valentine’s day. It was ugly. Also thought I’d grab some chocolates while I was there but at the register they charged double what the sign said by the chocolates. Ended up spending about $ 20 for a small, wilting rose wrapped in crumpled paper/​cellophane with some cheap chocolates.
Thinking back, I probably shouldn’t have bought it. When I gave it to my girlfriend she cried… and then we broke up. jk we didn’t break up. she DID ask me where I got it though because it was THAT bad.
Oh yea, the people weren’t that nice there either – maybe stressed because of Valentine’s day? I’m not sure. they were kind of mean.
don’t worry, things are good with my gf. james cress didn’t ruin our relationship… but they didn’t help it either

This past weekend I was on Long Island for a scattering of ashes ceremony out at Orient Point. James Cress was close by the hotel my family was staying at so I decided to pop in, despite some of the negative reviews that I read on the web, not to mention some issues my own family has had in the past.
The shop itself apparently has just been re-​decorated and was absolutely gorgeous and had an amazing selection of fresh flowers to choose from.
THe ladies that were working this Saturday morning, which I am sorry I did not get their names, were amazing. I told them what I was looking for and they bent over backwards to help me and make this occasion special.
I left there with 2 dozen, very nicely packaged gerber daisies and sunflowers, which were clipped of their stems (at the florists suggestion) in order to best float in the water.
THey were vibrant and stunning and if I didn’t know better I would say they are still floating in the LI sound right now!
I would definitely recommend James Cress.

I ordered a corsage for my daughter’s senior prom on telefloral. What I ordered and what i got was not the same. It did not match the description in any shape or form. It was not fresh and had no floral smell to it and already turning brown. It was not worth the money I spent on it.

James cress is always a nice place to go. Help is wonderful. Prices are right.

They did the flowers for my wedding and they did a fantastic job! Everything was exactly what I was hoping for; I would definitely recommend their services to someone looking for a wedding florist.
