UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT?! Couldn’t have been a better idea!
I’ve been at this Taco Bell a few times the past two months and have found it sub-​par. The food was cold, the meat did not taste right, and the service was slow. I decided to try it again yesterday and to my pleasant surprise, everything was exactly the way a tacobell should be! My favorite fast food restaurant (the closest one especially!) is actually good again. I inquired about any recent changes and was told a new manager took over as of two weeks ago. Thank goodness because idk what I would do without a good Taco Bell near by.

Use to be a hole in the wall. Now its a beautiful place to eat some Tacos. They have rebuilt it to greatness.

We decided to try this for breakfast today. He ordered the Sausage Biscuit Taco, which is more like a sweet, thick pancake than any biscuit I have known, and the Sausage Breakfast Burrito, which had all the sausage at one end and all the egg at the other. I had the AM © Sausage™ Crunch ® Wrap ©, which was very wrappy, halfway sausagey, somewhat cuminy, but not at all crunchy. We were going for a sausage theme, I suppose. It was freezing inside, so I’ll probably do the drive-​through next time.
Depending where you are driving from, it can be difficult to do a turnaround, but that’s a mere quibble.
I wouldn’t mind trying some of their other items. For a few bucks, you’ll get a decent breakfast that’s a change of pace from the McUsual Suspects.

For the most part, I am pleased with this TB. Not perfect but one of the better TB’s on Long Island. Never bothered with the drive through, the line is always way to long.

Very late evening. ordered 3 tacos… ten min prep time as counter help and cooking staff prepped garbage cans at end of evening. some of same staff were serving food! Standing at counter in plain sight was filth in the form of food and litter throughout the floor… it was a repulsive sight… when food was finally presented i asked for floor supervisor and expressed my discontent with this restaurants lack of cleanliness. I likewise asked for a refund of monies paid as I rejected the food… poorly staffed, slow processing, filthy kitchen area. a prime target for board of health inspection… I advise wearing blinders when ordering food…

Horrible drive thru service. Spent at least 10 minutes just to place my order. Then spent another 10 minutes just to get it. This is at 11:30pm. Cmon!

Good quality Taco Bell food. I haven’t had my order messed up yet. The employees seem nice. The remodel looks nice. I just don’t understand why it takes 22 minutes to get my order. Whether it’s 2 pm or midnight, the line is wrapped around the building and it moves one car every 5 minutes. If I were the owner, I would be very upset to see so many people back off the line because of the wait. Maybe they need more employees working or maybe they need more equipment inside to cook with. Something should be done.

This is one of the nicer looking Taco Bells around. They upgraded by knocking down the old building a building a new one about a year ago. The food is the same and its a lot cleaner (at least for now). Two critical items they over looked when they upgraded the location– (1) the drive through is narrow and they really could have installed 2 drive thru’s to make the line go faster. (2) the staff is the same slow po’s.

I’m not impressed with the food quality at all. The service was average at best. The food was bland with no real authentic taste to it.
I’d rather go to a place like green cactus or salsa salsa. Where the flavor is is better right out of the kitchen.

Used to work here. They use food that falls on floor to serve people. John the manager is rude and nasty. Food is terrible. Bathrooms are gross.

While the new layout and design are a nice improvement, the level of service at this location is fantastic. The managers to the crew members are incredibly nice (a welcome change from your average fast food establishment) while the food is far better prepared than the typical food slop job. As Taco Bell goes, this is one of the best around.

Growing up In Port Jefferson, late night runs to the Bell was where you would meet your friends, grab a mexi melt and hang out in the parking lot.
That was 1994.
Almost 20 years later, coming back to visit my home town (I now live in L.A.) I drive by the old Taco Bell and notice the whole roof has collapsed In and it looks as if somebody torched the place.
My youth has once again been destroyed by change. Bring back the Bell!!!

This Taco Bell is hit or miss. When the bald guy s the manager all of the food tastes amazing. When the other managers are on you never know what you might get! Many times I get the wrong order but everything is good at Taco Bell so who cares anyway! I get extra food half the time so it all works out.
