MY son had his 9th birthday dinner there and I must say(Eileen) went above and beyond to make sure we had a table regardless of how busy it might have been. I called the day before as I had never been to this location(I have gone to other Chick-fil-A in other states… Ohio and Florida – always great)…but have never gone to this one due to the long waits and crowds. I called on June 21 and was told for June 22(By Eileen) that ask for her and she would take care of everything. Well sure enough(thankfully it wasn’t crowded) but she had a table placed aside for my party and everything was great. from service to food… all excellent…

Ahhh… I REALLY want to love this place, but I just don’t think it lives up to the hype. The people are amazingly nice, the service is great, but the healthier versions of foods– grilled chicken, salads, are just O.K.

I give this place three stars. It has nothing to do with the food. What bothers me and keeps me from eating here is the cost of the food. It’s expensive and higher priced than any other fast food. Good food though.

Delicious food and amazing customer service. I enjoy the atmosphere and the fact that their staff is so friendly and polite. I definitely recommend, especially with all of their health options. It’s rare to go to a «fast food» establishment and find such healthy delicious options.

Finally had a chance to try out the new Chick-fil-A in NY after the initial hype has died down. Overall its very much like what you expected of a Chick-fil-a I’m glad the food is exactly the same as the ones down south. As far as fast food goes they’re one of the better ones. Very friendly service and the line was moving quite fast when I visited. The dining area despite being relatively packed on a Friday afternoon I see staff constantly cleaning up after patrons. This branch actually brings out the food to your table too which is very helpful to expedite the ordering process. Food’s delicious as expected, you can never go wrong with the chicken nuggets and any of the chicken sandwiches. Its definitely a very successful branch for them to open one all the way in the inner Long Island. Very happy with my dining experience here.

I love their chickens and waffle fries. It tasted very good and I would come back to that location. The employees were very nice to the customers and the service is excellent.

First of all, love Chick-Fil-A, because they are probably the only fast food around that still uses real meat. The manager gave us a military discount even though we were not in uniform. Personalities of the workers are great! I have no clue if the drinks are free refill, but as I was getting up to ask, Bryanna asked us if she could get us our refill. The manager Eilene has such a good heart, it shows in her workers! «Attitude reflects leadership»!!! I cannot get over the service here!

We visited the fairly-new Chick-fil-A recently for lunch and sampled the waffle fries, the Chicken Deluxe sandwich, plus a Spicy Deluxe. The waffle fries were pretty good, crispy and fun to play with, as they come in enormous perforated discs that beg for tearing apart. They give you a choice of sauces; we picked the Ranch, which was… meh. The chicken sandwiches were… meh. Greasy-tasting and very salty(1640 milligrams sodium) compared to a Burger King Whopper with cheese(1260 mg sodium) and also compared to a BK Chicken Tendercrisp sandwich(1220 mg sodium). Not that I’m watching my sodium or anything, but when a food item tastes far too salty even for me, you know something’s amiss. But the main reason this place gets two stars instead of three, is the labyrinthine takeout window, which meanders through the entire parking lot, contains at least one merge, and seems to take an eternity. CFA could learn a thing or two from McDonald’s or Burger King about traffic flow.

As it is my first Chick-Fila experience, I cannot say much. I did enjoy the chicken breakfast platter and lemonade. The port Jefferson location was clean and the service was great. We did also go at 8am. It was quiet. I’ll return for lunch one day.

I finally got the chance to try Chick-fil-A for the first time and I must say it was very tasty but what impressed me the most was the level of customer service… From the beginning once I reached the cashier they asked if I was«dining with us» instead of the usual«to stay or to go» and they would come around the table asking how the food was and if I required a refill on my drink or extra ketchup or sauces. All I can say is that I was impressed with the quality of the food but more impressed with the customer service. I would definately stop in again.

Welcome to NY… well Eastern LI to be exact! We welcome you with hungry stomachs & thirsty mouths. «It’s only a chicken sandwich» you might think. But leave that attitude at the front door. What a juicy, flavorful, delicious chicken sandwich it is. The nuggets are real chicken breasts cubed up, seasoned, breaded, fry and served to devour. The sides(waffle fries & Cole slaw) are great! Though I didn’t get an shake I saw an abundance of cups leaving the counter and they looked great!!! Service? This isn’t your typical«fast food chain». So polite, even asked us if the type of cheese that was offered on the sandwich on the menu was to our liking and if we cared for another cheese. They came around clearing garbage & even got us refills. Amazing place. Don’t let the long lines deter you. They are prepared for the rush and handle it well. Line moves fast & food comes out expeditiously!

I knew nothing of Chick Fil A before the buzz spread throughout Long Island upon its grand opening. Decided to finally give this place a try and I wasn’t disappointed! I live for their chicken sandwiches they are so delicious! I’ve honestly never tasted chicken from a fast food joint as good as this one. It’s so tender and juicy and tastes minimally processed(though I’m sure it’s not). Chick Fil A is a winner in my book. Their sauces are great too. My fav was of course the Chick Fil A standard sauce!

The spicy chicken sandwich is bomb. It’s really not that spicy. I love that they serve pickles in the sandwich and do try all their sauces. They kinda all taste the same lol. The chicken tenders are also a must. I’ve had their chicken noodle soup in a NJ branch and it was satisfying. Service is A+++!

I’m really not a fast food frequenter but if I have to have it this is where I turn. And I’ve been turning here a LOT since they opened. Ok, maybe the occasional late-night drunken greasy Taco Bell run but c’mon, who doesn’t turn to the Bell after a night of shenanigans? So let’s stay on track. The fries are good, never greasy and just the right amount of salt. The best sandwich is the #1 or the #3(the spicy one), my friend who is a Chick-fil-a aficionado was right — forget the lettuce, forget the tomato, forget the cheese — get the sandwich with just pickles and whatever sauce you like or even just mayo. It’s the pouch they serve it in that steams the bun and makes it oh so delicious. And it’s an actual chicken breast, not some pressed together mystery meat formed into something to resemble a chicken breast. And the sweet tea, nuggets and strips — holla, they are amazing too. Go, you won’t be disappointed. Just not on a Sunday, which is usually when the urge hits. Oh – and schedule a nap right after because you’ll need it, whatever they put in the food will make you pass out.

Alright chick-fil-a faithfuls, I was just as excited as the next guy for the new addition, I experienced chick-fil-a years ago and fell beak over tail-feathers for the sauce, yes, the sauce won my heart. Their anti-gay over-Jesus bullshit aside, their food sucks just as any other fast food spot, unless that is, if you get the chicken tenders(stay away from grilled chicken) and their sweet, smokey, deliciously amazing chick-fil-a sauce. The bread is stale and rubbery, nothing else tastes all too fresh either. Everything else on the menu is sorta like a really cheap and corny version of … An already really crappy food. This place is always swamped so I can skip it, really not that great. The sauce though, I’d guzzle that like a 25¢ … Oh it’s gooooood. Stick to the nuggets or tenders and a gallon of sauce, everything from the fries to the grilled chicken is GODawful. The fries aren’t greasy but they taste like plastic. The lines are long, and the food is junk. Can’t wait for shake shack, I’ll go there instead, just bring along my chickfila sauce.(Easy copy cat recipe)

Now that the hype seems to have dies down we have finally gotten our Chick-fil-a sandwich from out 1stNY establishment. The staff is very nice just like they are down South. Thank goodness. Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches you can get at a fast food joint. The Spicy Chicken sandwich or the original chicken sandwich either one you selected you won’t be a disappoint. The pickles and the all white meat chicken make the sandwich for me. Try the chick-fil-a sauce on he side to dip your waffle fries in. The sauce has an interesting BBQ flavor that you’ll keep going back for. Oh and they do chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. Add egg and cheese for a real Yummy breakfast treat.

Welcome to Long Island Chick-fil-A! Yes… I am the nut-job the that has been stalking their website for months waiting for the opening date! LOL I even saved the date on my calendar! I’ve heard so much about Chick-fil-A that I could not wait to try it out for myself. When we arrived, the line was just getting stacked. Pleasant parking lot directed the drive-thru line and traffic with ease. Despite the huge crowd, it only took 25 mins for us to order, and gave our meals in hand! EVERYONE was extremely patient, kind and seemed happy to serve us! That Southern hospitality was on 110%! So different than what New Yorkers are used to. Onto the CHICKEN!!! Smack your friend’s mama good(Definitely not my momma, she’s an OG)!!! Lol. It is real chicken! REALCHICKEN! I don’t think I have ever had fast food with quality chicken in a sandwich. All other chicken sandwiches are now subpar. The fries were fresh, yummy and real potatoes. The Chicken nuggets were great also. My favorite sauces are the Chick-Fil-A & Polynesian sauces! The lemonade keeps me coming back. I don’t believe this spot will lose it’s mojo anytime soon. Who doesn’t appreciate quality food with excellent service??? I sure do! I’m already hooked! Happy Unilocaling!

As a southerner transplant to the Northeast, there are times I just long for Chick-fil-A. Real chicken, never frozen, cut up and prepared by a real chef in a kitchen… yes, fast food done right. So tonight we made the hour long trip from Bayside Queens to Port Jefferson for the taste of the south. Thinking it had been a few weeks since the opening, we would probably be clear of the hoards of people… oh were we wrong. There it was, the building of delishousness… a freestanding Chick-fil-A. Everyone at the light was making a u-turn to delicious chicken sandwiches. Turning into the parking lot it was apparent that the word was out, this place is the holy grail of chicken. The line of people was coming out of the front door almost to the drive thru exit. We were committed, so we too stood in line to wait our turn. The line moved consistently but the wait still was around 20 minutes.(This line never ceased to be this long during our meal up until we left. The drive thru was double lane with 30 cars in each lane) The staff was super friendly, just like their southern cousins. I had the original sandwich with waffle fries and a sweet tea(with free refills). It was awesome just like all of the other locations I have visited. G had the grilled chicken club and he said it was really good. We did get to meet the owner of this location. He did confirm, what I had found out about from a different store manage(un-named of course to protect my sources), that a Chick-fil-A is coming to Westbury, NY… but there are some delays, but yes yes yes yes, it’s coming closer. Can you imagine Old Country Road with a Chick-fil-A grand opening? Chaos! But bring on the chaos please. Just FYI: the biscuits in the morning are freshly made, not frozen and thawed like McDonalds and Chick-fil-A does great catering.

Wow!!! All I can say is WOW and THANKYOUGOD for bringing Chick Fil A to Long Island!(Fitting, since this is a Christian company). Today was the grand opening. Last night I camped out in the parking lot with 110 other people because the first 100 people in the door got free chick fil a for a year! I was so excited to be the 92nd person to get it. I’ve loved this company for years from living in the Carolinas. the sandwiches, waffle fries and sweet iced tea are the best food in america fast foodwise to me. The people in the new port Jeff store were so nice along with the corporate big wigs helping out. Please come eat at this supremely excellent staple of an american food company!

This is New York’s first free standing restaurant«and» its in Suffolk County Long Island. So suck it Nassau county! (Sorry, pet peeve. They get Shake Shack, DQ and Popeyes) I just had Chick-fil-A in Tampa last month. It was nice, quite and orderly. In Long Island? PANDAMONIUM! And that’s a good thing folks. I first have to say, Chick-fil-A is not open on Sunday. The business wants their workers to have a family/church day, there is no reason to keep the machine spinning 7 days a week. Does that make sense? If so, I’ll continue. The community is getting excited about Chick-fil-A. They’ll accept the business closed on Sunday for a good sandwich. And that’s what I had tonight for dinner. A spicy deluxe chicken sandwich fried in peanut oil. Oh yeah and the famous Chick-fil-A waffle fries.(And a cookies & crème milk shake ;) Mmm mm good! The folks managing the crowds had a southern accent. They were all very polite and able to mange the crowds and kept the food coming out perfectly. With the volume of customers, there were no inconsistencies with our order. The restaurant was clean, the food was good and the serving folks were friendly. Does it get any better? Welcome Chick-fil-A to our sleepy little town in Port Jefferson NY. I can see you love us by your business and creating jobs. We’ll show you Yankee hospitality right back at ya!
