Out of business! My one night honeymoon at Danford’s was a bust… The sole purpose of staying there was to have a nice dinner, sleep over, and then wake up for a day at the spa. Unfortunately, after we checked in and went to see the spa there was a sign on the door stating that it was permanently closed. We then went to the front desk and the receptionist told us that they don’t have anything to do with the spa and Danford’s was just their landlord — yet the spa and Danford’s advertise together? And the spa is promoted in the in room binder and map? You’d think for $ 260 they would have kissed my butt a little?! In addition to the spa being closed. The shower was very loud, it sounded like there was steam engine was outside my window! Long story short — we will not be staying here again or recommending this place!

So I booked myself their package that included a massage and facial for a birthday treat to myself. The facial was nice, nothing over the top special about it but no complaints. The massage on the other hand was HORRIBLE first off she was not prepared for me at my appointment time, and she smelled like cigarettes, not exactly the aromatherapy I was hoping for. The massage itself was ROUGH and it really felt a lot like she had no idea what she was doing. She used wet towels on my back that started out nice and warm but she let them get cold and I was freezing when she removed them. The worst part though was her cell phone, she had it in the room on vibrate with her during my massage! It was vibrating through most of my massage, and she was also texting while«massaging» me with one hand at some points. I woke up SORE the next morning, with aches I didn’t have before my massage, which is absolutely nuts, and has never happened to me after a massage before. I would never recommend a massage from here the only reason I gave this place two stars verses one is because the spa its self was clean, and the facial was nice. This place seriously bummed me out on my birthday and left me sore and achy the next day:(

My bf booked mani’s and pedi’s for me and my best friend. He didn’t realize we had acrylic on our nails already, so when I asked them if they could do our fill-in’s, and I would pay the difference, it was kind of made into a big deal. So we just got our pedicures. To be honest, the pedicures were mediocre. My best friend received an extra 20 minutes, while mine was rushed, so the employee could go read her magazine. The salon is nice and clean, and we were the only customers in the entire place due to it being lunchtime on a weekday. However, I wouldn’t call it a «spa» The young girl who did my friends pedicure was VERYSWEET, and had excellent customer service. I felt like the other staff members there, seemed to be talking about us ~ but I can’t be sure. Bottom line, if I received a gift certificate I would go again, but i wouldn’t pay to go back.

Loved it. Went once for a happy hour pedicure, came back to schedule a bachelorette spa day. The ladies were so accommodating and we had the best day. Highly recommend Francesca for a back massage!

I started having my hair done at blue sapphire last year when a friend gave me a gift certificate. Now I am hooked forever. If you are a curly girl like me, see kelsey. No only is she a curl expert, she is a pleasure to be around. Surprisingly, for a beautifully located spa attached to Danfords, it is no more expensive than any other hair salon I have gone to. They give you coffee and tea to help you relax and play meditation music. The best part about going here is walking around town afterwards with my new ‘do.
