Good pizza and now serving beer and wine, beer selection is pretty good and the pizza is amazing. The food menu here is quite large for the size of the shop itself which is nice if you don’t just want pizza. I like it mainly cause it’s a small local owned«hole in the wall» pizza shop where I usually see many local faces. I believe price is fair for what you get also service was really fast. I will always come back to cucinas!

What a wonderful surprise! We have been very disappointed with the restaurant at the port ludlow resort, so we decided to order from this place. We had low expectations, but YUM! We ordered a large garlic, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomato, pepperoni pizza, it was super tasty. They put plenty of artichoke hearts which is rare. Crust could have been a bit softer, but other than that, we all had seconds. Don’t waste your money at the resort restaurant, come here!

Great pizza and Tuscan soup! This is a gem of a place that is one of the few places to eat in the area. I will definitely go back!

Love, love, love this place! Their pizza is delicious, and the prices are decent. The atmosphere is just what I love; intimate and cozy. I make a trip to Cucina every time I’m in the area!

Had dinner with out of town family and had a perfect evening. Got to sit out on the patio and enjoy the nice weather and the service was still great. We had pizza, salads and cheese sticks, plus a penne pasta that was to die for. All at super reasonable prices. Chris, the young owner came out personally to make sure everything was as we expected, which was a nice touch. Will absolutely be back!

We’ve now been to this place several times and have found it to be very tasty! We had the baked penne, cheese bread and a caesar salad this time, and we’ve also had the pizza. Portions were all large and we took home leftovers for the next day. Was a bit pricey, but we did get«2 meals» out of the deal ;) The nice young gal who served us was very friendly and trying hard to do a nice job … «that counts for something these days». I really can’t understand the negative reviews below, for this is a «very small town» with no other«real» choices, yet this little find would do well in a much larger area. Can’t imagine what it’s like to run a business in such a small area with folks that can be «so tough on their own neighbors» … would hate to lose this little gem! Thanks for the great job guys and hope you get more supportive guests in the New Year!

We tried this last place last night. The food was excellent — their cheese bread is so yummy. The only negative for food was my daughter’s spaghetti had some burnt strands, which for a toddler was the end of the world. But everything else was awesome — we had pizza, salad and sandwiches between everyone in our party. The service was mediocre — there was a young lady working alone. She was friendly enough but not very attentive — we had to ask for water refills, silverware etc. So a docked star for service but otherwise this place was great. We will be back for sure!

The pasta is very tasty and delicous. Server was quite inexperienced, but trying to learn, she delivered the wine bottle to the table, uncorked without asking for reaction or sampling. We were surprised when receiving our bill that the extra meatballs served with the spaghetti bolognese were billed at $ 1.00 per meatball. They were not that good. Do not plan on returning any time soon.

Inconsistent food quality, service is no more than what is necessary to deliver food from kitchen to table or take out. Pricing is fair, but is borderline in price value/experience. Not a lot of options in Port Ludlow though.

My husband is a pizza fanatic and given that Cucina was the only place(basically) in PL, we had many a take-out pizzas made here. Some experiences were good, some ok, some bad, very bad. The major problems we had were with the staff and their lack of experience. I totally get hiring teenagers, but training them is helpful… especially when it’s a busy place. On several occasions, our orders were forgotten about(while we sat and waited and so did the pizza, on top of the oven, in.a.box…cold) or it took waaaay more than«just a few more minutes» or had to basically reorder our pizza and then wait for them to cook it. The pizza itself was pretty good, considering. Just be prepared to be annoyed.

Although the ambience is ordinary or poor, the pizza is good. They have a lunch special of 2 slices and a drink for $ 6,a real bargain.

The only reason I’m giving Cucina Pizza two stars instead of one is because the food was okay. We had a family size pizza with pesto and chicken and the crust was delicious and toppings good. However, the place has zero atmosphere as far as a place to go to dinner. The tables are bare laminate, the lights are too bright and shine right in your face, and there is no background music. The tables are not set for dinner – no little flower in a vase or tablecloth or even silverware. A very stark dining room. There is music blasting in the kitchen, which you can hear in the distance, but the dining area doesn’t have any. The service was okay. We will not be going there again because of the sterile, plain ambience. Who wants to spend money to go out to eat in a place that has less appeal than a hospital cafeteria? That being said, we live in Port Ludlow and would really like this business to succeed. Please dress up the dining room for dinner – add a little color and style to the tables, and put a dimmer switch on the pendant lighting, which is nice looking but glaring. Add some music to the dining room and turn down the music in the kitchen. I realize the place is basically a coffee shop that turns into a casual eatery for dinner, but at 5pm or so the tables should be set with a dinner place atmosphere. I don’t think other Port Ludlow residents will find the current atmosphere appealing at all and I bet your business is suffering because of it. A few easy changes would make a huge difference and I hope you make them before it is too late. Good luck.

Loved this little place! We got there shortly before closing time and weren’t once rushed during our meal, the salad was tasty, and the pizza was good! Really appreciate the service :)

Good pizza in an out of the way location. My family was on the road to Port Townsend and stopped in for dinner. The décor and service are kind of average. The linoleum tables, coors neon light and fake fireplace made me a bit nervous. However, the pizza was pleasantly ok. It’s nothing fancy, perhaps a little above average. We had a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were good. The bread stick appetizer is essentially a thick pizza crust, coated with backed parmessan and cut up into strips. Taste-wise it was good. The portions are good. I shared a small pizza with my 8 year old son and we didn’t even eat the whole thing. Service was friendly and professional.
