It WAS nice.
Lakeside Apartments is in a very nice part of Port Orange. however, the apartment recently «went condo» for a few months before turning back into an apartment complex. However, the neglect that the apartment underwent during this condo revision made all the current residents leave, and anyone who wanted to live here steer clear.
The Good:
Nice Units: The places here look really nice, both inside and out. And there’s a nice pool area.
Close to public facilities: The apartment complex is right next to the Volusia County Public Library, and City hall. There’s also a nice park area with a jogging course and play area for kids.
The Bad:
Maintenance Issues: Ever since the announced condo revision, this place just hasn’t been the same. Upkeep, maintenance, really everything you might expect has stopped, and it’s a real shame.
Unfortunately Lakeside/​Pierpoint has too many issues for people looking to move into a nice apartment complex. It really is too bad that things here went so wrong.
