Not impressed. Greasy tasteless burger and a steak and cheese served on a hot dog bun. This was a joke. Basically over priced fast food. We won’t be back.

This place is phenomenal! I’ve been in Daytona Beach for over a year and this is the first time I stopped by. I promise it won’t be the last! I ordered the black bean burger, «volcano style». It was one of the best I’ve had in years! Maybe ever. The burger was seared so it had a nice textural crunch, but it wasn’t dry or strange like some black bean burgers can be. This was a «sturdy» burger with flavor. The toppings were FRESH like the lettuce and tomato just came out of he garden. I don’t know where they get their produce but keep it coming! The volcano sauce(think of it as spicy bbq) was to die for. And the bun?!? Screamingly soft yet substantial. I’m sure it was baked by wizards. My dining partner had a 10 ounce«real» beef burger(not a black bean burger like mine). He ordered it cooked medium and it was actually cooked correctly! What a concept! It was a thick burger that looked hand– formed. He absolutely loved it and said it was perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. He’s still in awe that it was cooked«medium», since few places ever get that right. Lest I forget, the onion rings alone would be the reason to come to the Daily Grind. Good night, these things were the best. I stole some French fries from my friends plate and they were also delicious — shoestring type and not seasoned in that crappy batter that every place in Daytona seems to serve. Worth every calorie, and worth every penny. Thanks!!!

Great place! My husband is always picky about his steak and he thinks they have the best steak around! I enjoy the grilled chicken salad. My son loves their burgers! I’d recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

Always serves an awesome burger. Coming from NYC where my choices are abundant, this place rules the rest. And the people who work there are super genuine, care about how you enjoy the meal — they go above and beyond! It’s my go-to spot when I’m in town! I recommend provolone cheese burger, and try out the various catsups, great selection.

We were passing through and found this, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, including the knowledgeable gentleman(Craig) who was insightful and energetic about the reataurant. Lots of options for mine and hubby’s different food needs. Great food!

This was the second time I have eaten here and in both visits I have experienced raw or undercooked meat. On the plus side the toppings bar is very fresh and good assortment of condiments. I usually enjoy med rare steak, but med RAW hamburger is not enticing to me. Two strikes for this place, and I’m not sure I want to risk a third.

To expensive for the small portions. Cooks do not pay attention to orders. Med/well does not mean cold and over cooked. Better luck elsewhere.

This is the closest to a hyperbolic chamber we all wish to escape in one can find in reality. The chill playlist meshes well with the array of offered burgers that Never disappoint. Customers service has always been pleasant which is always a refreshing experience. The menu is well balanced, reasonably priced and offers something for all tastebuds and dietary preferences. Only sandwich I personally avoid ordering again is the chicken philly. Taste wise was flavorful, but filling wise was another story. This is definitely a place I enjoy coming to and sharing with friends and family who visit. Clean, chill, and delicious. Definitely come check out the hype!

New to the area, we chose the Daily Grind based on all of the positive reviews. Knowing we were first timers, the gentleman at the order counter was super nice and explained how their system worked. We were very happy with our burgers, grilled toppings were a little light for the price but delicious. The cold toppings bar was a nice plus and the variety of ketchups were great! We really enjoyed the sweet dip that came with the sweet potato fries so overall a great meal. We were hoping for a little bit of a better atmosphere and the sparse seating left a little to be desired but it’s still worth returning for the food.

On a whim, I stopped into daily grind to try it out. Very glad I did. Immediately I was warmly welcomed by one of the owners, Craig. He Took the time to explain the menu and the toppings bar and their selection of catch-up varieties that they make and will soon be bottling. I had the smokehouse burger which was excellent and cook to perfection. I definitely plan on coming back again and trying different items on the menu.

Great burger joint! I would recommend getting the 7oz burger vs the 5oz. The service is GREAT! The main guy(Craig I think) was so sweet and gave us suggestions and checked on us multiple times. The Daily Grind sauce bar is cool with different condiments and all toppings are made in house so that means the pico de gallo, guac, etc… are delicious.

We visited on a slow Sunday evening as a group of 5, two sets of orders. We were greeted quickly and the cashier was friendly. I was happy to find the Coke remix machine and also the sauce bar with hickory and garlic flavored ketchups. I found the pricing a little high for the meal we were receiving. It cost $ 30 for my husband and I to each have an entrée, a drink, and to share a small fried sides sampler. Just for comparison, that will usually get us an appetizer and a full meal at most full service burger restaurants. Unfortunately, it took 30 minutes for our food to be available for pick up at the counter(hot dog and Philly cheesesteak). My hot dog was huge and tasted fine. My husband’s cheesesteak was so over cooked that the cheese had dried out. The other half of our group actually had to go ask where their food was at around the 35 minute mark. They had 2 hamburgers, and two fried sides. The food came out quickly after that, but there was no attempt to rectify the situation. As slow as business was during our visit, I just can’t see any reason it should have taken so long to get our food. I can see how this place might put out some tasty food, I just wish that had been our experience.

Best hamburger, hot dog and Philly steak and cheese around. Should be a line out the door from open to close. It’s that good. The owner works there so u can expect the best each time you go.

Let me start by saying the concept is great. For what they do I’m kind of surprised by how small of a seating area there is. The staff seemed friendly and quick and that’s always a plus. Food: I ordered the smokehouse burger(bbq sauce, bacon, cheddar, onion straws), fries and coleslaw. Coleslaw– was pretty tasty and fresh Burger– Asked for med well and it was well. A bit dry for me. It was just«ok». Not the worst but I’ve definitely have had better. Bacon and onion straws had a good crunch. Bread was good but a bit soggy. Fries– Pretty good, a little on the greasy side. My father enjoyed his hot dog and coleslaw and said his onion rings were cooked perfectly. My son devoured his grilled cheese and said it was«willy gwood» so I will take his word for it. I like that they used the same bread for his grilled cheese that they used for the hamburger buns. The grilled cheese was a little lame looking though. Pricing wasn’t too shabby for how many toppings you can put on. A big plus is that they use Gaffs meat. When I lived here that’s the only place I would get my meat from. It’s definitely good but this just didn’t do it for me in comparison to other yum burgers I’ve had.

Only came here once it was a Saturday off-peak hours we were a little disappointed being we had read so many good reviews. The place was in disarray and it appeared the crowds had just cleared out. We ordered a cheese burger and a chili cheese dog, the burger was extremely over-cooked we ordered it medium and it was very well done and dried out. The chili dog I was hoping would save the day and it was looking really good until it came time for them to add the chili, apparently they added water after the rush to thin it out some I’m guessing. Well as he attempted to top the dog with chili the spoon was full of very thin clear liquid watered down chile and completely saturated the bun until it was a soggy mess. Instead of starting over he just said oops and handed me the plate. We had waited about 15 minutes to get this mess and decide to just write it off since the were getting busy, we threw out the dog and half eaten burger and walked out in disbelief that they would actually serve this up. To say the least we are a little hesitant to go back for a second round even though the reviews rate it so high.
