Great market for local produce, honey, and other local foods. We found this gem by chance while exploring Port Orchard and immediately fell in love with it! The employees are friendly and they have an awesome selection of local stuff. My only complaint is that they close down in December and don’t open again until spring.

Have a home in Port Orchard and my job has me at it often. They lack having a few items I want but what I do get there, eggs, tomatoes, carrots, apples and the like are always good. And the veggie chips are a favorite of mine. If you buy something there, and do not like it, tell them and they will refund. They give 5 $ off next purchase for a purchase of about $ 70. Folks are friendly and is just good to go into a smaller, more local store, rather than a large chain.

Wanted to love this place. Meant to stop by it numerous times. Meant to remove produce from my purchases at the grocery store and start buying it here. So, I went. Found limited selection. Bugs flying all around me. Bought a few things to try, which were alright. The worker was friendly. But, it lacks the product selection, the depth, and the volume of product available at the grocery stores in the area. I cannot rely on Colello’s inventory to provide the produce needed for my recipes. It also does not measure up to the produce stands I visited in California. The basics, such as strawberries, avocados, tomatoes, lettuces, artichokes, carrots, are so much healthier looking and better stocked in stands down South. If you’re into gambling for produce that just jumps out and says… you gotta try me today even though you didn’t think of me before coming in… then this place is right for you. But, if you’re on a mission to get specific produce for your diet, stopping here is a gamble I bet you’ll lose.

I will often drive the long way to my mom’s house so I can stop by Colello’s. They have great fresh produce. They also carry Morningside Bakery breads(I love to pick up a loaf of the lemon or apple breads!). I’ve stopped by a few times during the year when they are having free family events with fun stuff for kids and free food samples for the adults. The events seem pretty popular based on their overflowing parking lot!

We stumbled upon Colello’s by happenstance and so glad we did! We live in California and when in Manchester, travel over to Seattle to do our shopping at Whole Foods or try to hit the local farmer’s market. Not very convenient. It’s been difficult to find grass fed meats and raw milk, but Colello’s has that and so much more! They have a variety of organic produce and the best part, soy-free chicken and eggs! They carry a variety of specialty items from local vendors in an open aired, large, clean, well laid out produce stand. My only complaint is that we didn’t discover Colello’s sooner! When in town, we’ll be doing most of our shopping here as I would rather support local businesses vs Whole Foods(no offense against WF, but I think they are doing just fine!).
