They didn’t fix the problem. I would not call them ever again.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Port Orchard, WA
Sloppy work, low quality materials, unprepared. We called Port Orchard Plumbing to do a propane line installation on new construction. We needed a gas line run from a propane tank with 3 stub outs for a furnace, water heater and range. The entire run from tank to the last appliance was 19 feet, in a straight line. The gentleman who quoted us asked us if we wanted cast iron or CSST(flexible) line, and we told him that we preferred to run CSST under the floor joists. No problem — we set an install date and waited. Installation day arrived, and a different plumber arrived, and he was totally unprepared. He didn’t have the CSST line or any of the other fittings required to install that product. He offered to run the pipe along the exterior of the house in cast iron, which he insisted was a superior product(irony soon to become obvious). Next came the complaints that«the shop» had taken his«good» pipe threader. The pipe threader he had was rather dilapidated, and when he was cutting pipe, he was just pouring motor oil over the cutting heads, and letting it pour into a torn cardboard box with a rag in it. Needless to say, we had pools of motor oil in several places. Day 1 ended with about 5 feet of pipe run. Yes, Day 1 — six hours from arrival, and he was setting less than a foot of pipe an hour. It took almost another full day of work to complete the job, which wouldn’t have been so upsetting if the quality of the materials used hadn’t been so bad. The pipe and joints were heavily rusted — so badly that they will need to be chemically stripped in order to paint(and provide protection against the elements). I’d post photos if Unilocal allowed it. The plumber complained rather vociferously that the job was under-bid. And for twelve hours of labor, it was. If he had done the job the way we had originally specified, using the materials we’d asked for, it would have been a two to three hour job. Rather than get into an argument, we asked that the plumber(who is apparently the new owner) call us about some other work we needed done. We weren’t terribly surprised never to be called again. Avoid these guys. Like the plague.
