Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft

My wife and I were at this location on Memorial day May 30^th 2016, she shops there often and has had issues with bad attitudes frome certain employees, I have too. I once asked the location of an item in the store and had the lady tell me, «I don’t know, over there is think.» While pointing. My wife found a few of the clearance fabric’s and that was the last day for the extra 50% off the already clearanced price, so while at the fabric counter one of the employees helped her without an issue. My wife then decided to give another look around at some fabric to make sure she had all she wanted. So the 2^nd time around at the fabric counter, my wife was standing there for a couple of minutes while two employees and the store manager were speaking inappropriately about someone, after hearing some foul language, my wife looks over and the store manager says «Oh no and she just looked over at me» then knowing that the store manager and the employees were inappropriately speaking about my wife. The employee that cut the fabric the 2^nd time around, (besides the rude and condescending attitude) tells her manager to «just breath», don’t let her get to you. After the rude service from her, the check out process was not helpful trying to get the names of these employees and the store managers name. We called corporate office the moment we left the store and was told to give the district manager about 2 business days to return our call, well, it’s now Sunday night of the 5^th of June. And no return call about this misconduct of Joann employees. If you want to be mistreated, talked about in a negative and inappropriate way by employees and their store manager, Then this is the place to be.

This joanne’s is located in NPR, and is usually a disorganized mess. They’re always getting ready for one holiday while the other one is in the middle of a clearance or still in full swing. Honestly i’ve seen Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentines day up all together. Talk about a mish mosh.
But when you come in looking for fabric or jewelry findings, they have it. They’ll ahve what you need and it’s easy to locate. Their associates are easy to deal with and friendly too.

If you can avoid this store at all costs, I highly recommend it. However, I also know that there are things, such as specialty fabric, that this store has a monopoly on. Other hobby stores are not close and you are left shopping at this store.
If you need any help finding an item, good luck finding an associate to help you. If you do get your hands on that specialty fabric, you can bet that taking a ticket and waiting until your number is called takes just short of an eternity.
And then when it’s time to check out… there is 1 register open and 15 people in line. Tuesday is senior day, so steer clear. Any other time that there are big coupons out, such as a 60% off of a regularly priced item, don’t even make an attempt to enter the store, unless it is right after they open. Oh and if you are there during snow bird season, you don’t have a prayer!

JoAnn’s has a little every kind of craft. Sewing, knitting, kids stuff, scrapbooking, cake decorating. They also have some cute seasonal stuff and some good sales. I like the fact that they offer all kinds of classes. I’d love to take a class on sewing or cake decorating. Maybe when I retire like 90% of the shoppers at this JoAnn’s I’ll finally be able to do it!
