Best Western Port St. Lucie

Not my first, second or fifth choice. The room was not cleaned when we checked in at 10pm – Bed was definitely used and garbage was full, with towels all over the floor.
They tried to help by giving another room… Oh my… The smell that came from that room and AC will give me night mares for the next couple of days.
Note to Management: Febreeze WILL NOT FIX THAT!
After our third attempt of moving our luggage to another room, I just wanted to sleep. HA! Check out these pillows. It looks like they cut them in half? Smh.
Can’t wait to leave.

Well maintained, well run, kind of resort-​like motel, a bit off the interstate in an older part of town.
I was kind of worried about an older building, compared to the St Lucie West possibilities, but that worry was not warranted. I liked this place.
I had to dredge for negatives, but I’ll put ‘em up front. As is the case for motels with outdoor hallways in Florida, the room A/​C when the outdoor temperature was in the 70’s just couldn’t drive the humidity down in the room. I had a second negative, but it is escaping me at the moment.
The staff was bustling around, things were painted nicely, outside and in. Oh, the other negative was one morning the laundry cart rolled loudly past my ear at, oh, 7:30…too early!
The rooms, and this is a guess, are 1.5 of a normal hotel room. So it looks like they took 3 rooms and made 2; the room in the middle was halved and we get a little living room. It was really nice to have place to sit on a couch while the women folk fiddled around getting ready. Not queen beds, only doubles, but that worked for me, heh!

I have been staying in Best Western’s for the past two years and this is a very nice motel. The room was clean. It was nice a quiet at night. The only thing I was surprised by was no waffles. As a member of Best Western and someone who stays in their hotel/​motel every month I know what is on the breakfast buffet. What I found was cold pancakes and small variety of pastries. All of the Best Western’s have a pancake or Waffle maker so you can help yourself. I don’t understand why you would have the pancake maker in the back kitchen!!! Plus the pancakes were cold and then had to microwave them, ugh… Both mornings of my stay were not good. Will it keep me from going back, of course not.
Those of us that travel a lot book hotels based on familiarity, so please move the pancake machine to the buffet.
I know people reading this review will think it is so trivial but to those of us who travel a lot sometimes only have breakfast and dinner.

Great location. Extreamly clean room. The living room/​bed room layout is set up great. Size is comfy to get ready or relax.
The water shower head didnt work. Had to mess with the tub pully thing. I want to take the bed with me.
No bathroom toiletries. A small sign with «just have to ask front desk».. Hotel should charge a few more $ & put shampoo, conditioner, & other bathroom needs. Also they do not have a safe in the
The maid service is horrible… I was naked about yo showe at 830 am & they just barged right in. Front desk explained was mistaken for wrong rom. Issue a guest list & update them as guest check out.

They have responded, and it turns out Mom did not have the the pearls of value stolen, as she did not bring them on the trip. However the fact remains, earrings were stolen from her room. Management is making an effort, but it’s simply not enough. I stay in countless numbers of hotels each year, and can not nor will not endorse a hotel which employs thieves. Please, do not stay here.

All the rooms here are two room suites. Our room was clean and new looking. The second room has a second TV, a couch, and a computer desk.
The is the nicest Best Western I have ever been in.
