This place is a terrible representation of the IHG chain. For three nights we had BROWN water coming out of the sinks and the shower. We are only at the hotel during the night, so we’ve called every day asking for a manager. Every day we’ve been told someone will call us back, but they never do. Yesterday we called three times and were ignored, never getting a call back. Adding insult to injury, I tried buying a water from their vending machine and guess what they’re out of? Do yourself a favor and stay at the courtyard across the street.

I’m starting to have a thing for staying at holiday inn’s hey why not they’re not obnoxiously expensive they’re very clean and friendly customer service well that’s at least in my experience for the ones that I have stayed at in Florida. This location is located in Port St. Lucie west a neighborhood that I have come to love and enjoy to visit. Complementary breakfast is provided and free Wi-Fi. I will definitely stay at this location again Just a heads up during preseason baseball that is season hotel prices are always higher and availability is limited so book wisely and in advance especially if you’re a New York Mets fan and come down for preseason baseball.

I stayed at this hotel on June 25th, 2013 without making an online reservation. This hotel’s policy will not honor any military discounts if you appear without a reservation. This is their own franchise policy. They photocopy your Driver’s license unlike others that only view it. Additionally, they copied military ID and told me their manager would call me which they never did. This practice of having hard copies of our ID which can be compromised if they are irresponsible with our personal information is obviously worrisome. Instead, we spent 8 subsequent days across town at the Holiday Inn who did honor my husband’s military contribution to this country. As a last resort we had to stay here on our last day before leaving PSL. The quality of this hotel has also declined over the last year. Bathrooms have mildew around edge tub and top of shower area around the ceiling peeling. Mis-information was also of concern. Employee had to look up cancellation policy. I’ll utilize my Hilton honors rather than staying at this hotel. My husband’s priority Club membership was not honored as it is at other Hilton Hotels with upgrade to our room. Because we were only staying 1 night we just toughed it out but we agree that this hotel will be our last resort when traveling to Port St. Lucie. Room Tip: Book on line to ensure proper billing-this hotel will not correct any mistakes. Manager not on site… See more room tips Stayed June 2013, traveled on business

Another day another HIE, this time in Port St. Lucien, FL. This too is a nice hotel, the staff friendly and helpful. I managed a corner room and it was very quiet. I was quite pleased with this. The hotel is close in proximity to the major highways, attractions. It is a bit of a drive to get to the Atlantic but it is a nice drive. I recommend this place highly.

In need of a stopping point on the way to our cruise, we chose Port St. Lucie because it was within a few hours of Miami and the Cruise Terminals. We are so glad we did, because this is a very nice area with many useful conveniences nearby. This Holiday Inn Express was the first that we’ve ever experienced the 2 Bedroom Suite. I just couldn’t get over how much room we had and the fact that it had three TV’s + Privacy for mommy and daddy was a HUGE and GRATEFUL bonus(wink, wink, wink)!!! There is a IHOP nearby that provided some late night eating and a arcade/restaurant for families just across the parking lot called SuperPlay USA. We didn’t get the opportunity to take the kids, but it was definitely placed in the travel journal for our next pass through town. As always, free breakfast and great rates make Holiday Inn Express our choice hotel when traveling by car.
