The employees are the shit!!! I love the them and the potato skins. They have jack single barrel, I like that too. This place makes me want to drink every night! Monday’s are burger nights and burgers are 6 dollars! They always cook my burger right, always! If you need to make some new friends, look for the Asians at the bar.

Overpriced for what you get. Visited twice. The last time I ordered the corned beef and cabbage and only got 3 deli thin strips of corned beef for 11 bucks, and it came out cold. Any other Irish Pub type restaurant I’ve been to doesn’t skimp on the portions like this place does. Their food does have a nice flavor, but that’s not enough.

I was lucky enough to be taken to Shindig’s by family when we came to Florida to visit. We went on a Monday night. There was apparently a special promotion going on that night — a $ 6 burger with a drink purchase. As a result, the place was packed by 5pm! I ordered the Peppercorn Burger. It was unbelievable. Very tasty, juicy and flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Everyone in my party ordered a burger as well(Belfast Burger), and everyone was pleased. The service was a little slow, but this seemed to be the result of the $ 6 burger promo. Waitress was friendly and accurate, but clearly overworked. This wasn’t much of an issue for us, since we weren’t in a hurry. Plus she had the presence of mind to put pitchers of our beverages on the table so we weren’t waiting for refills. All in all, a very pleasant visit, and great food.

I’ve been here before for the late night setting and it’s really fun. Especially on a holiday. They have live music and a great atmosphere. I went there for lunch yesterday and as another reviewer stated, it was very slow. There was only one waitress and she seemed to have a lot of other responsibilities aside from her three tables. It took her a long time to get us our drinks and return back to take our order etc. We were not in a hurry so it didn’t really bother us but I would no recommend eating here if you’re in a rush or going for a quick lunch. The burgers are delicious and large in size. Bleu cheese burger is amazing. A friend got the corned beef and loved it as well.

DON’T GOHEREFORLUNCH!!! They are always understaffed for lunch. Have 45 – 60 minute food times, and absent managers. Dinner time is better, but will never return for lunch.

Solid food and extremely good prices. Burger was excellent and huge. It was happy hour on a Sunday evening which was odd, but I wasn’t going to complaine. Two 20 ounce guinness for $ 6. Once you get inside you completely forget you’re in a strip mall. Very good live Irish music as well.

Went there tonight for a change of pace from seafood and Italian Ordered the corned beef dinner and was disappointed with the quality and quantity for $ 15 per plate A better choice would have been a corned beef sandwich The good was a total ripoff in my eyes Should have known better that ordering corned beef dinner in Florida is like ordering Italian in Ireland Won’t be back thanks

The best appetizer menu in town. The chicken tenders are a must. Yummy flatbreads. Great staff.

Well I loved the atmosphere music and all. I had the corned beef on grilled rye with hand cut homemade fries with spicy mustard(kinda like dijon mustard, but made with Guinness beer instead of wine with a lot of horseradish) FREAKINGGREAT! LOOKIFYOUWANTAUTHENTICCORNEDBEEFITISSALTYTHENTHISISTHERIGHTPLACEFORYOU! If you want factory processed corned beef this is not the place for you.

I have been waiting to write this review, because I am really not sure how I feel about the whole experience. On one hand, I can see the potential of Shindigs — which is very high. On the other hand, they failed to execute on some pretty fundamental things, so it is hard for me to give them a good review. Let me preface this review by writing that we went on a Monday night when they have their Burger Special. Buy any drink and get a burger for like ~$ 6.99(IF I remember correctly). Any restaurant with that type of a special is going to see a massive influx of customers on that night. Regardless though, you need to have staff able to handle it in order to execute on a satisfactory level. Food: They have a wide variety of menu items, but a burger is what we came for. I ordered a burger with ‘Irish Bacon’ — don’t remember the name; but it is the only one on the menu. I ordered it ‘medium’. Overall, you can tell the meat is ground fresh, and they have their own unique blend. The burger was seasoned appropriately, and the toppings were above average. The problem is, when you advertise a special such as this, and you provide diners with a letter-insert in the menu talking about how diners need to be patient in order to give the kitchen extra time on Mondays too cook everything to perfection — my burger better come-out the way that I ordered it. Again, I ordered it ‘medium’. It came-out ‘well done — see pics. I don’t know. For me, waiting 45 minutes for a burger after being passive-aggressively asked to be patient while they cook the burger to perfection, to receive my burger at a doneness not-even-close to what I asked, is aggravating a-best. Why didn’t I send it back? And wait another 45 minutes for a ‘perfectly cooked burger’? Um, no. Despite all of that, the fries were good and the overall burger would have been a solid 4 stars; but with the over-doneness, the food rounds-out to a 2. Lastly(almost forgot), the soft drink I ordered, tasted funny. Like it comes out of a hose dispenser and the nozzles or dispenser are NEVER cleaned. Just an FYI. Food: 2 Service: Our server was fine. Honestly, he looked like he was strung-out on cocaine a bit; but who am I to judge as he did an adequate job. My problem is with the host/seater who quoted us 15 – 20 minutes for a table. We waited for 43 minutes. I timed it — because I’m an ass. This is highly-unacceptable. We waited at the bar, but I don’t drink. So imagine how much fun that was for me. Service: Seaters = 1 Server=3 Overall = 2 Atmosphere: This is a cool joint! Love the atmosphere. It has a pub-type feel that is completely immersive. It does not feel like you are dining in Port St. Lucie. This type of immersion really set a great atmosphere. From the décor, to the overall style… this place rocks. Atmosphere: 5⁄5 Price: A 6.99 burger is a 6.99 burger. Even with the complete screw-up on doneness, it was still worth the price. Price: 3⁄5 Final Thoughts: Their burgers are — without a doubt — fresh, handmade patties made with quality ingredients. Unfortunately, if you do not execute on those ingredients, it doesn’t matter how high-quality they are. Everyone else’s burger at my table was within an acceptable range of doneness — but certainly not perfect. Mine was just further from perfect — much further. Unfortunately, I am the only one who cares enough to write reviews. When the rest of the table saw the doneness-issue, they said ‘Sometimes this happens on Mondays because of how many burgers they cook for the special’. For me, that is not a valid excuse.

It was okay. I had high hopes for this place so when we showed up, I was excited! But that all sunk a little when we walked inside. There was some kind of holiday party going on in the bigger room so the waitresses seemed to be a little worn thin. We waited at the hostess station to be seated for over 5 minutes without being acknowledged.(Which was the same for everyone who walked in after us who wasn’t apart of the Christmas party.) finally I walked to the bar to ask the bartender who told me to hold on as she too seemed run thin with the Christmas party festivities. Finally I got hold of her and she said just to sit anywhere which we did. We ordered lunch, got the medium wings for an app and my dad got the shepherds pie and I got the fish and chips. We waited a long time for the wings to come out first, so long my dad fell asleep and i got through a decent part of one of the many laws books on the wall. The wings were good! Crispy but had hoped they be a little more spicy, tasted mild. The food came just when we were finishing the wings which was nice. They made a mistake and gave me the dinner portion but didn’t charge me, I was okay with that. The fish and chips were pretty good, I loved the chips! Fresh and in house made, nice and crispy. The fish was good, the breading wasn’t all the way cooked though in some parts. I just didn’t eat that. I tried my dad’s shepherds pie and it had good flavor, just wished there were some more carrots in there. The portions were awesome, good sized for his Lunch portion and my mistake dinner portion. I may try again, not sure yet!

a very irish pub with decent beer selections and delicious baby Guinness® shots. The crowd is very old, but a great place to come catch any sports game and not be bothered.

Called them from the road and asked if they would put the football game we were looking to watch and they said it wouldn’t be a problem. We got there and they stuck is in a room with another game on and put our game on with no sound. Took a while for a waitress to take our order and when she finally did they changed the channel on us and wouldn’t change it back. Very rude. We decided to cancel our order and go elsewhere.

Can’t beat a Belfast Burger for $ 6 all night, Monday nights. AND ½ off apps before 7 if you can get in with the crowd. Its an authentic rowdy Irish pub with great food, great drinks and fun. Love this place. Even had the countdown clock to St. Pattys Day. Burgers are great, shepherds pie is made as it should be… with lamb, and the bread pudding, wow!

Great food. Good curry. Cool spot with a pretty decent happy hour and discounted foods. Their flat breads and burgers are great as are the fish and chips. The décor is fantastic. Very reminiscent of the pubs I visited in Ireland. The staff is very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and are quite helpful. They also have live music which can get loud. Cool place to go Hang out and eat basically any night. And the bread pudding is happiness in your mouth! Yum! Beer selection is good too… They have smithwicks and Kilkenny. Not too many places have those guys on tap.

Most recent visit continued to disappoint. Service was horrendous even while not busy, appetizer never came out because«…the cook didn’t see it.» Fish tacos were hard — incredibly unhappy with the direction this establishment has gone. Eventually they’ll realize that just because they have a great band coming to play, still won’t cover up for its downhill service and lower quality food. We can no longer return to Shindigs.
