Here is the best coffee in town. It’s tiny, but warm and inviting. The conversations tend to be a group effort, which makes for some great entertainment. People here are devoted regulars, so it’s a good place to make friends.

The owner serves up great coffee with a dash of spunk. Don’t go here if you expect to quietly order your drink and move on. Enjoy a bit of banter and caring as she custom makes your espresso needs with organic local dairy and double pulls right for you. Enjoy Wifi is weak as its pulling from the area signals.

Best lattes in town because Suzy uses the best organic milk and creates every cup with happy energy. Dog friendly, people friendly. What more could you want.

Woohoo! As good as it gets. I learned how to be a coffee snob after I had some really good coffee on Bishop St, in Honolulu during the early 1990s. Really good coffee has so many complex variables: the beans, the water, the roast time the proper grind — I could go on and on — 1012 Coffee Bar Nails it! Really good real coffee not those awful syrupy quasi-milkshakes that have become so popular of late. This is the place you go to get delicious coffee, with any kine milk you want, or even you can drink it black — cause good coffee tastes da best that way! Also a fun place to just hang loose and read the newspaper. As others have said in their reviews, the owners are super friendly. :)

1012 Coffee bar is just AWESOME! Just a small town family business in a little hideaway in uptown that does nothing but serve amazing espresso. The owners Mike and Sue are super cool people who will entertain you as a guest all day long whilst severing up delicious Vivace espresso For such a small city Port Townsend offers the coffee aficionado a wide array of options to explore. But all considered the 1012 Coffee Bar is where any such adventure should always start.

If you want a delicious espresso drink in a bar that is beloved by locals, go get one at 1012. Susie is one of PT’s den mothers and will make whatever you want just how you like it. The place is usually full of locals buzzed and happy hanging around and catching up. Even if you’re from out of town, maybe even especially if you are, you can easily get swallowed up in the good vibes and friendly chatter. For a real treat, stop at Pan d’Amore right up the street or Sweet Laurette’s right across from 1012 for a heavenly pastry, come back and enjoy one of Susie’s creations and some local flavor. Open on all major holidays — great place to get an egg nog latte on Christmas!

Still the best coffee in town, and the early morning goodies are always good, but quickly gone!

Yes, coffee is the best, it is. Any person who won’t give you water for a dog gets bad karma in the end, sorry.

Being a vivace snob in Seattle, I was delighted to find a coffee shop in pt townsend with a wonderful barista who knew how to make a mean latte! To add further credence: they actually have a synesso espresso machine and they do use vivace beans.

1012 Coffee Bar is EXCELLENT! The Coffee bar is in the theater and arts district in Port Townsend away from the tourist areas. Found it by cruising the town on my motorcycle. First I stopped to ask the locals out front some questions about the town. I went two blocks and turned around to go back. The proprietress, Suzy, hails from the Midwest and is a wonderful woman. She promised me an espresso better than my Mother could make. I mentioned I like cinnamon in my espresso, and she asked if I wanted her to put it into the ground coffee in the press, which is the absolute best way to do it BTW. It was indeed the best espresso I could ever have imagined. I stayed there for around three hours meeting the coolest local people. Suzy and 1012 Coffee Bar are not to be missed in Port Townsend

I love this tiny«hole-in-the-wall» coffee bar in Port Townsend. They serve Caffe Vivace roasted beans(from Seattle’s «coffee guru») and my latte is creamy and delish every. single. time. I buy my beans there too. Interesting local art on the walls as well.

It’s like a caffeinated version of Cheers: Susie, the aproned owner, calls to you from across the room. A curious, kind, and gregarious woman, she probably knows your name if you’ve been in before. Stay and get to know some of the locals! Susie’s sweet husband is often there, coming in during breaks from work. It’s the kind of world you want to believe in, and it’s really there — at 1012 Lawrence St. The espresso rocks. Drip is cheap and good. Chais, herbal teas, and hot scones from the oven! See ya there!
