Really great beer and music with nice local flavor. I highly recommend hang out on a Saturday night.

If you want cheap local beer and legit burgers, then come here. The service was friendly and quick. The kitchen is separate from the bar so you have to pay for each separately and they only take cash but they should have an ATM machine(I think). We were here on a Sunday and on Sunday’s they serve half off beers ALLDAY! We had ridden our bikes from Anacortez to Port Townsend(with a ferry), and it was a very hot day. All other places were either a full patio with no AC or they were closed on a Sunday. This place was exactly what we needed. They play great music but we weren’t there for the live music. If you want patio seating it is incredibly limited but if you sit by the front door you will get a nice breeze.

We were so happy to stumble upon this local hangout. Delicious food, perfect atmosphere, and inexpensive enough that you can go back often. We definitely will!

We went here for some dinner, beer, and to hear some live music. The place looks kind of divey, which I like, and the musicians were local and fun. The food was quite good and provided by the adjoining establishment, Blue Moose Uptown Grill(associated with the place in the Port Townsend boatyard noted for its good breakfasts, Blue Moose Café). You order your food at the Blue Moose Grill’s counter and they bring it to your table(and bus your table at the end). DH had a burger dip & fries, and I had a small house salad and a falafel pita sandwich. We both liked what we had. I especially liked the salad and would order the large size by itself for a meal in the future; it had kind of a Mexican vibe to it – made up of mixed greens, carrots, cukes, jicama, I think some tomatoes, pepitas, and crushed tortilla chips, with a citrus cilantro vinaigrette that I was a little leery about, but it was perfect with the rest of the salad. Yum! A budget-friendly place for a casual bite to eat, full of local people. PS: We went again and I tasted DH’s burger. That thing was deLISH! It tasted like diner burgers used to taste when I was growing up… with real flavor, and that charbroiled quality, and it was tender. Tasted like real beef and not full of fillers. It might be the best burger sold in this town. The only other rival is in Kingston at The Grub Hut where they use grass-fed beef.
