Pros: *Really good beer. Better than the average island town brewery. We’re hopheads and our expectations were exceeded! Single-hop Simcoe IPA was exactly what I hoped for. Wife had the IPA and really liked it, enough that we ordered them while out and about in town the rest of weekend. *Friendly beertender. *Comfortable pub interior and beer garden. Cons: *Closes really early. 7pm on Saturday night in a town that thrives on tourism? C’mon man! *No food. We ate the heck out of some tasty peanuts, though. We were really impressed by the beer, and we’re admittedly snobs. So first and foremost, the quality was there. And it’s good to see they go out on a limb with some styles. Took ours out to the beer garden on the other side of the building, and with grass and lawn chairs it was an excellent spot to sit outside and drink a beer. The girl behind the bar was very nice, and the vibe was very relaxed. We were hoping for some food(our fault for not knowing better) but settled for peanuts. Something wafting while we were out on the patio smelled fantastic, so we started to obsess about dinner. I don’t blame a place for not opening a kitchen. But, a few snacks– pickles, landjaegers, a cheese plate– would go a long way keeping us there a few pints longer before heading out to eat. Finally, hours. I wouldn’t expect late night hours, but hours so early make it difficult for those of us coming from out of town or by those returning to town hungry after a hike. I didn’t get the feeling that the place is trying to keep out tourists, so closing at 7 on Saturday seems like a missed opportunity for business. Overall– great beer, nice atmosphere. We’ll definitely go back and when I see their beers on tap in restaurants(I know of several here in Bellingham) I won’t be afraid to order them.

Love everything about this place! Great Beer, friendly bartenders, Reggae on the speakers inside the tap room, awesome outdoor space with a lot of seats and shade if needed, live band with a rad lady killing it on the harmonica. I’ll be back! Do yourself a favor and stop by before summer is over! I’ll be back!

The outside music venue is intimate & quite lovely surrounded by lovely flowers. Patio heaters are stationed in the area, but apparently a request is necessary to turn them on. The music that we heard, Armstrong, Katz &? were great. The low rating is a result of the service. Rude is an understatement.

I really liked this brewery. The beers here were really excellent. I had the Yoda green tea beer. It was really tasty with the right amount of green tea flavor and perfect on a warm day. The brewery had an awesome outdoor space. There were lots of chairs and umbrellas and there was a stage for music. If you’re in the area, I would definitely recommend a stop by!

DELICIOUS! Beautiful little brewpub with an amazing beer garden. We soaked up the sun under colorful umbrellas with a live musician playing guitar! Lots of space back there & it feels secluded away from the business location. They do $ 1 samples and ~$ 5 pints. The scotch ale was the best my boyfriend’s had with a full body & great flavor. I tried their single-hopped(centennial) IPA& thoroughly enjoyed it. We also sampled their Porter & Stout — both great. No food but sounds like local businesses are familiar with delivering to the area.
