This is such a cute place, super nice staff and the food was great! I couldn’t decide what to get so I got the combo plate with pork ribs, pulled pork and sausage. The ribs and sausage were my favorite! Yum! The owner told us they make the sausage. My boyfriend had a special, which I can’t remember the name of, but the owner did tell us he named it after a bus driver, great story! It was a sausage topped with pulled pork on a bun. We also had beans, cole slaw and a cheddar corn bread muffin. Everything was excellent! We’ll be back for sure!

Well, I guess for Washington it’s OK. The pulled pork was bland. Did they even use a rub? It was pork sandwich that tasted like it was done in a crock pot. Asked to have cole slaw ON my sandwich and the guy just kind if looked at me. No vinegar sauce. If this is how they do barbecue in Oklahoma, glad I’ve never tried any. Keep trying! Take a trip to North Carolina and find out what real pork barbecue is all about!

Yum! Best on the Peninsula, and just great BBQ. Try the«hash», which is a nice portion of fresh slaw, tasty baked beans and pork! Or the classic ribs, pulled pork(plate or sandwich), and BBQ chicken are sure to tempt and satisfy you. Yes, I do like this place! And if you want to eat at happy hour take your carry out BBQ across the street to the waterfront bottleshop, and enjoy a selection of beers with your meal in their water view picnic yard.

Best BBQ in ages. Great owner who will regale you with stories of Oklahoma, pig riblets and corn muffins were the best. Hottest BBQ sauce was pretty mild by my lowly standards. You can eat outside with your puppy if needed, which we did!

Good coleslaw, good beans, fatty bland meat and dry cornbread muffins. On the bottom of my list of BBQ experiences.

Very expensive!!! I don’t think a pulled pork sandwich should ever cost more than $ 5. Especially a luke-warm sandwich that is plain and dry and not drenched in delicious BBQ sauce! They put the(DRY) pulled pork on a bun, and you add your own BBQ sauce.(They have 4 or more sauces to chose from; mild or different levels of hot/spicy.) The concept is good if you want a choice, but I would much rather have a pulled pork sandwich that is sloppy, messy and dripping with sauce! After all, that is what a GREAT pulled pork sandwich is made of! My husband also got a pulled pork sandwich, but he got the«meal» which included slaw and beans. He said the slaw was great. I personally think they should offer macaroni and cheese as a side, I would’ve been all over that! The meal was $ 9.50 which seems ok, still steep in my opinion. Although it sounds better paying $ 9.50 for a meal than $ 7 for JUST a sandwich! RIDIC!!!

Very Yummy. 1st time eating at this BBQ Place and so very good. The food is VERY good, kinda wish he did beef brisket more often and wish it wasn’t so expensive. They do an awesome job with all the food they make and always makes you feel right at home. A tourist could spend lots of money easily at this awesome BBQ place and it’s worth every bit.

BBQ in the Northwest… is well. It isn’t generally all that awesome. Im sorry, but this is just not an area of cuisine we excel at. So when our original lunch plans fell through, CW’s goading and begging brought us warily here. First off. Pigs everywhere. If you were confused about what to eat here before entering you will not be after about 5 seconds of looking at the décor. Pigs pigs pigs. Otherwise, bare bones tables, a nice whiteboard menu, and pictures of things for those of us who are indecisive(me). I didn’t see brisket on the menu, and while I assume their bbq beef plate would have done the trick I didn’t want to risk possible disappointment. While everyone else was ordering I was checking out the photos — and goodness gracious. Cheddar topped corn muffins that looked divine — I needed one of those. Oh, and a hotlink with pulled pork on top? Why the eff not, pork on pork! I was happily surprised when the friendly, front-teeth-missing, owner asked me how spicy of a hot link I wanted. I told him the hottest he had which made him grin all silly like and he went about putting our orders together. After testing the BBQ’s sauces on the table, I settled on their«HOT!» sauce due to good heat factor and low sweetness(I hate sweet bbq). Copious amounts went on top of my porky-dog, and I went at it. Woooooooh man. That was one delicious and ~spicy~ hot link. I would have been happy with that alone, but the smokiness and texture of the pulled pork on top was actually really super yummy. My corn muffin was delicious –cheesy with the random whole corn kernels, and not sweet at all which usually makes me sad with corn-bread but their recipe was just so good here. I stole nibbles of the coleslaw(no mayo! hooray!) which was good, and the baked beans which were sadly too sweet and one-note for my liking. Prices are fair — my meal coming to a mere $ 9 with soda included. Probably some of the best BBQ i’ve had in the PNW, and yeah… that might not be saying much. But really, this place is really good.

Hmmm, we were across the street today at the Pourhouse(they don’t serve food but you can order and bring in), and DH went over and ordered 3 tacos. Upon entering the one employee let all know that he was alone for another 45 mins and the people who came in after my hubby said they were next to order, RUDE. Anyway, DH ordered 3 bbq chicken tacos per their menu they come with slaw, cheese and salsa. They«ran out of salsa,» and when we opened them they didn’t have cheese either. So 3 tacos with half the(maybe 1 T of slaw), ingredients for $ 10.00 with dried bbq’d chicken, not impressed won’t be back! Boo!

Uhm what can I say — it’s basic mid-west BBQ. Good, but not as exceptional as other reviews claim, there are actually much better places in the Seattle area. We stopped in at 5:30pm ordered a ½ rack, and it was rather dried out. Was also a bit over-priced for what you get, but this is a tourist town

Bbq is another food that I grew up with in Oklahoma that people here in the Seattle area just don’t seem to understand. I looked high and low for something that would even come close to what I was use to eating back home and then gave up hope. Then in May on a trip to Port Townsend I found these guys on Unilocal and decided to give them a try. Yes this is the best Bbq in Western Washington. The meat is superbly smoked and taste of Oklahoma Bbq. But here is why I gave the 4 stars instead of 5. The sauce was more in the style of Texas Bbq as well as the sides. That aside it an amazing gastronomic experience that you will not soon forget.

How in the world does this place not have a review on Unilocal yet?! Dos Okies was a great place to grab lunch! My guy and I tried a little of a lot of menu items and we were so full afterwards, we almost wished we would’ve dined elsewhere… That’s a lie. We were full but we couldn’t have asked for a better meal! Slightly overwhelmed at the delicious menu items, we hesitated. Luckily the man behind the counter rushed to our aid and helped us decide. The meat is perfectly cooked, the coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had(crispy, fresh and peppery!) with a perfect amount of dressing, the beans were cooked to perfection(not mushy) with just the right amount of spice and packed with delicious smokey flavor and usually I’m not a fan of hot wings but these zesty wings are smoked perfectly. They also have a potato salad that is full of herbs, not salty or overdressed. Their hot sauce is something else too… so… much… flavor… I’m sure by now, you get it… This place is awesome for BBQ. You’d be correct. Oh yeah, by the way, our beagle Daeli was with us for this trip and once the guy at the counter found out he insisted we let her try«Doggie Gummi Bears.» They’re smoked cartilage. After they thawed(he gave them to us frozen) Daeli got to enjoy a little bit of smoked BBQ!
