I found this place on a whim. I needed a place to stay fast and all the local chain hotels were booked on a Saturday night.
This place looks straight out of 1950. One of those roadside places where the cars pull up to each room. Fun is all I have to say. I fee like I am staying at a real mom and pop place in Wisconsin.
Guess what, it is a mom and pop place. The mom is a «Sheriff» too, ask her when you check in!
It had everything you need. A fridge, shower beds TV. Nice picnic tables out in the grass too.
It is dated and do not expect luxury. It was clean and tidy though.
It is pricey for what you get. The super 8 is just about the same price but this place is charming. I would go back in a second.
