North Shore Garden Center

There are a number of garden centers from which to choose up here in Port Washington and adjacent towns, but there is no place like North Shore Garden Center. They not only have anything and everything you can think of having to do with plants and planting — flats of vegetables, herbs, and annuals in season, perennials and evergreens galore, trees, soil, mulch and the like — but the warmth they exude and the wisdom they share makes the experience as well as the end result that much more satisfying and successful. North Shore has a huge range of tools, pots, gardening accessories, wall planters, birdbaths and statuary… all clearly carefully chosen for durability as much as esthetics, and certainly value. I always look forward to springtime, because I can’t wait to see what emerges from their greenhouses and what new products and wares have come in, but I especially look forward to seeing Dominick and his great crew, and always leave with a smile on my face and the confidence that my garden will be both productive and beautiful.
