The prices are extremely affordable. The customer service is superb. They attend to all customers in a prompt and courteous manner. I came here all the time with my mom. It’s across the street from the LIRR. I would call myself a «regular» here. Definitely in my top 5 deli’s. A small plate will fill you up.

I always looked at the ceviche at the end of the counter but only tried it for the first time this week. This may become my summer favorite. Fresh and cold ceviche on a hot summer day for lunch. You need to go all the way by the cashier since it is at the end of the hot food line.

I discovered pupusa here from a co-worker that gets them every day. If you want bean n cheese pupusa you should call the order in bec they never have them pre-made like the meat ones. Also, this is a morning only item from what I understand. They are very inexpensive so I get two and a side of cabbage salad to eat with it. Not sure what they call the cabbage stuff. They have two actually and one is much spicier than the other. I get the mild one. Also they have a typical Spanish deli hot food buffet. Not gourmet or anything to write home about. Just can get a good amount of cooked food like rice, beans, fish, chicken, yucca, etc for a great price. I’m not totally sure why sometimes it cost me $ 7 and another time only $ 4.

I found this place by accident about 5 years ago when I was working in the neighborhood. I’m an extremely picky eater, especially when it comes to Italian food and Spanish food. I’m used to authentic, mama in the kitchen food. I have never once been disappointed in the quality of the food here. My favorites are the pernil and carne guisada. The staff behind the counter are always helpful and nice. Also, price-wise, they can’t be beat. For about $ 7, you’ll get a large to go tray with whatever you want on it… and they PACK the tin. I usually finally finish my food after 3 meals. If you haven’t tried the pupusas, you’re missing out. They take about 15 minutes to make because they are made fresh per order. I’d wait an hour for one of those bad boys, so 15 minutes is NOTHING!

it is goooood! really really really good! my husband works right near here & apparently goes for lunch like once a week, I had never heard about it though until I stopped by a few weeks ago with a friend & he was recommending lunch spots for us. He told me he never mentioned it because all the girls at work think it’s gross & sketchy, it’s not, but it’s not nice either. Like at all, I’d say it’s on par with the ambiance of like a 711. However, this is completely negated by the amazing-ness of the food which is absolutely delicious & totally cheap! Like, less than making it yourself kind of cheap. I don’t know how they do it. I’m a vegetarian, so my reviews of the food are based on the rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, & plantains— omg the plantains, best I’ve ever had & we’ve gone to tons of the expensive/authentic columbian places in Brooklyn. My husband gets some kind of meat, I know that’s really nonspecific, he loves it, I don’t look at it too closely, so I can’t really tell you what they offer for that, but there’s lots of it. They also sell Mexican coke & beer as well as other beverages. So I started with saying I have just been introduced to this place… I’ve been there 3 times since, it’s yum! They’d have 5 stars, but it’d really be a billion times better if they could make it just a little bit nicer, if you’re just going for take out though, who cares.

My family and me usually order the pupusas from here. They really are very good and my favorite have always been the bean with cheese mix. We usually order them as pick-up. I haven’t had a chance to try their other food but my review is specific to the pupusas :)
