Not sure what to do with that pesky $ 20 that’s been burning a hole in your pocket? Come buy, like, four truffles!
The quality is astounding, don’t get me wrong. The flavors are unique and tantalizing, and they look as gorgeous as they taste. Unfortunately, it seems more like a novelty shop to be browsed and left sans purchases, than visited regularly. From the sound of it, it appears to be more of an ice cream stop than they might have intended, but business is business.
I would not suggest their coffee. The girl making mine seemed to know very little about what she was doing, and after I made a very small request I was told she would have to get the manager to see if it was alright. I wasn’t and am not upset at her — she was covering her bases. It came across as a low priority service to them though, which makes me hesitant to get a rather pricey latte from there again. Perhaps they’ll dial it in as the weather gets cold and their ice cream biz drops off.
If it’s a question of going or not, I suggest stopping in and seeing what’s new. The literal take on eye candy is well worth it.

One girl working the counter that day, she was pretty busy! When our turn came along we ordered a couple of ice cream cones (.50 extra got me a waffle cone dipped in chocolate) and an assortment of turtles and other fresh chocolates to go (yes, they did survive being strapped onto my bike)
My ice cream (yes, I lack control. a double cone. sea salt caramel and chocolate peanut butter cup) was delicious. I don’t know if it’s locally made but it’s pretty great.
We’d go out of our way to stop here again.

The ice cream was excellent and overflowing from my waffle cone. Definitely an indulgent experience!

Great ice cream in a quaint town. Fresh flavors, yummy dark chocolate covered cones. Really friendly staff. Kids and adults loved it.

This place is a gem hidden away in quaint Port Washington, Wisconsin on Lake Michigan. I have never seen such beautiful chocolate. Each piece looked like a piece of art. Shaped by an artist and presented polished and glazed. They have amazing flavored Truffles like: Tongo Vanilla made with Polynesian Vanilla. Vodka Lemon, Caramel Apple, Sweet Potato and Cinnamon Habanero.
They have the creamiest ice cream I have ever had. I tried the Espresso Crunch on a really fresh waffle cone.
I recommend this place to anyone who loves chocolate or loves someone who loves chocolate.

If you’re in the area and have a sweet tooth, this is a must-​stop. It’s a cute, tiny shop dedicated to delicious ice cream and various kinds of chocolate.
I can only speak to the ice cream, but their chocolates looked amazing (and pretty!). They had at least 12 different flavors and you can get it in a dish, standard cone, waffle cone, and both chocolate dipped. The ice cream was fantastic — I went with strawberry and vanilla. But all their other flavors looked promising.
My only complaint was the wait. However, it was a hot summer night — so what else should I expect. They only had 3 people working and the line was literally out the door. However, you know you have a good thing going when people are willing to wait awhile for a few scoops of some ice cream.

The chocolate chisel is a great addition to the town of port Washington. Located on the Main Street it does prove to be challenging To find a parking space as they do not have a private parking lot. The shop is micro in size but they do offer a large selection of chocolates and truffles. The prices are reasonable and the staff has always been friendly to us. They have an ice cream counter and the biggest perk is the chocolate dipped waffle cones. So good! The shop does also offer coffee drinks. There are gifts available for purchase as well. I’m hoping they will expand there store front space a bit in thefuture. It’s very cramped for room when multiple families are in trying to look at ice cream or looking at the chocolates. But for the quality of the candy, and the friendliness of the staff I give them my four star approval. The best part of their location is that after you buy that ice cream cone or truffle for your sweetheart you can access the lakefront walkway a block up. We have taken a walk with our treats on many occasions.

Delicious chocolates and ice cream! They have a large selection of truffles and chocolate bark. It’s honestly all super delicious — I have never tried anything I did not like.
I recently tried the ice cream. We had a scoop of salted caramel and blueberry cheesecake. They were both so good! The blueberry cheesecake tasted just like it sounds and the salted caramel was «melt in your mouth» good. You can also ask for a sample of the various ice cream flavors.
They are vegan and gluten-​free friendly, and the staff are knowledge about food allergies. They offer a punch card as well, you get one punch per $ 5 spent. Definitely a good thing to have if you stop here frequently.

Really interesting chocolate flavors — we tried a chai flavored milk chocolate (shaped like a tea cup, really cute), and a chili dark chocolate (or maybe it was chipotle?) and a dark chocolate cherry with dried cherries inside. There was also a large selection of interesting floral and fruit flavors. The chocolate was good, but kind of pricey — nearly $ 2 for tiny piece of even very good chocolate is a bit much. But it’s a good place to stop for a quick special treat.

Great service. Great ice cream and a huge selection of chocolates made at the store. Even has ice cream separated from others for those allergic to nuts– which is huge for me. I plan on coming back a lot

This place is awesome. A bit pricey but sooooo worth it! I’m a sucker for sweet and salty! They have tons of it! They have a good assortment of ice cream and they are open late! Perfect for a late night snack! Defiantly worth a visit :)

Cute store with a friendly and accommodating staff. We purchased an assorted box of 12 pieces and shared with friends later that weekend. Everyone raved about the quality of chocolate and innovative pairings. Try the «Elvis» candy !

Cute casual place… great stop on a bike ride. Feels boutiquey. Tasty ice cream, great prices, friendly staff and friendly feel amongst our fellow customers. I’ll be back!

Where do I begin?! The chocolates are stellar! The ice cream is amazing and the staff is always so energetic and friendly. We always bring our out of town visitors to the Chocolate Chisel so they can have an opportunity to try the amazing products!

The nicest and most knowledgeable staff. Normal pricing for premium chocolate. Worked very hard to accommodate everyone. Vegan, nut allergies, gluten allergies. One of the best surprises of Port Washington.

It’s a little shop with a lot of selection. The cases of truffles will keep your eyes occupied for quite a while. Then your taste buds will love your choices regardless of what they are.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Try the hot chocolate with cinnamon and hazelnut… YUMMY!
They also serve Sassy Cow ice cream and use Sassy Cow milk, so that’s another bonus.
This place saved an otherwise disappointing trip to Port Washington.

I’m not typically a big chocolate fan, but the truffles here are delightful. They generally have a really good ratio of chocolate-​to-​ganache flavor, and their chocolate-​covered toffees are amazingly buttery and rich. The first thing that strikes you when look at the chocolates are how shiny and colorful they are. All that gleaming color has no effect on the flavor of the chocolate, thankfully, so you still get a great taste. The chocolates can get kinda pricey, but I guess that’s pretty normal when you’re dealing with high-​quality ingredients.
They also serve some amazing Wisconsin ice cream. The salted caramel flavor is an absolute revelation, and the other flavors are also excellent. I’m not a big fan of their children’s flavors like Blue Moon or Birthday Cake, but it’s always nice to see that they have stuff for kids.

Stopped in for Mothers Day goodies. Great service, super helpful and I picked out the perfect goodies.

We were looking for an icecream shoppe when we happened across this gem! They have BEAUTIFUL chocolates that are purely a work of art! I thought some were glass! Some were swirls of color and magic and I just loved looking at them. Yet, we went there for icecream. They had just started serving Wisconsin’s own Sassy Cow icecream made from a family dairy. It was so amazing, my husband stated it was the best he has ever had! Unique flavors of black cherry, pear and ginger, purple cow (blackberry) and more! The best part? So reasonable. A must visit!

We stopped in here the other day during our walk downtown. We were offered a free sample upon entering which was delicious!
Prices are a little too high for my taste, but the chocolates would make a great specialty gift.
