Advance Auto Parts

Very helpful staff! They were quick to ask me if I needed assistance and they had what I needed in stock. I prefer this place over the competitor across the street any day.

Every time I come in here looking for something
specific, I never find it. I just wind up going down
to Autozone down the road. They’re much, much
more helpful.

I went into Advance yesterday because my timing belt went out on my 2004 Chevy Aveo, now, most of you would say «well, Advance should carry timing belts right?» and «Cristin, your car is not new!»
Not Advance! They said they carried timing belts and once I told him my make and model he told me that «it’s too new!» Too NEW? It’s four years old! He told me I had to go to the dealer to get this part, and from my research prior to going to Advance, that it would run me about $ 90 bucks! So I went across the street to Auto Zone and they had the part, so apparently it wasn’t too new for them!
ETA: I just went on Advance’s website and found the part within 2 minutes so maybe they just didn’t want to help me. I don’t know why, I mean, their competitor is right across the street.
