I have been to Red Lobster in the past, and was less than satisfied. My friends and I were diligently trying to decide where to eat tonight and seafood was mentioned. We were all excited about this type of food tonight. So we thought we’d try Red Lobster. We all got the «Lobster shrimp Overload». I had a ceaser salad to start with and it was very «Chicago like». As far as im concerned, Chicago has the best Ceasar salads anywhere. This salad at Lobster was amazing. Then the meal came and from the first bite to the last, everything was DELICIOUS. All 4 of us agreed. The meal was amazing. Lightly breaded HUGE shrimp. Mashed potatoes with lobster bits and a bisque gravy. Grilled shrimp. A lobster tail. A dish of pasta with shrimp, lobster and an interesting olive oil sauce with parm. The portion of asparagus was perfectly grilled. Overall, a «9.5÷10». Service was A-​1 as well. My partner and i spent 127 including the tip. We both had 2 alcoholic beverages. I felt it was worth it.

Does NOT take reservations. Had a long wait — pretty typical, so not unexpected. Staff is very friendly. Have not had a bad meal yet. Didn’t have to wait for server or food. Both really fast. I had seafood linguine, my wife a steak. Once we were seated we had our food and were on our way just inside of an hour. We will come back again.

I’m going to break my 3 star rating logic down chronologically.
Rating potential upon walking in:
5 stars
Quoted «20 – 25 min wait» it was a busy Saturday night, that’s totally acceptable, plus they ended up seating us in less than 5: Feelin’ good!:
5 stars!
Sat by host, 15 mins pass before being greeted by a server:
4 stars.
Event after being gretted, our waters only arrived with our salad and biscuits, it took a total of 20 mins to actually get drinks on the table:
3.5 stars.
Our dishes arrived. Our server checked up on us about a minute in and then didn’t check back for another 20 — not noticing I still needed a crab fork along side of my snow crab turned out to be a dire mistake, substituting a butter knife didn’t cut it (no pun intended)!
+ the dishes were just alright, most of it was served over-​saturated in butter or oil:
3 stars.
The whole experience was rather «meh», but nothing was intentionally awful, so I really can’t go below 3 stars.

We had a nice meal and. We had s new waitress that did a great job. Food came out properly (salads then entrée) so we were not rushed through our meals! Very nice meal with my husband. We will definitely enjoy another date night here.

Waited for over a half hour to get seated. There was no one else waiting to be seated. Had 3 groups of 3 people get seated before us. They don’t have tables that seat 5 people so you have to wait foe them to put tables together. Which usually means you’re waiting for someone to leave. Food is great once you get it.

Well my lunch visit to this red lobster started off fine. I sat at the bar, order was immediately taken. Got salmon and broccoli. Pretty simple. It came out exceptionally quick which is important during a lunch break. The salmon was cooked well which was surprising because I typically don’t have the best experiences at red lobster. The problem started was after my food was served the bartender left for over 20 minutes. It took a shorter time for me to order and eat. No apology. His coworkers offered no assistance. I was late getting back to work. Thanks a lot!

Out of all the times we’ve been to Red Lobster I think today was the best! We were seated as soon as we walked in which was a surprise since it’s Friday night… Our waitress was amazing and very kind, and our food was DELICIOUS! We ordered their new dish which is wood grilled salmon, wood grilled shrimp, and wood grilled lobster tail with the side of baby potatoes and green beans and we ordered the shrimp linguine Alfredo and popcorn shrimp for the kiddos. Everything was cooked to perfection. I’m definitely getting that wood grilled dish again!

9−16−14. 5:15 pm. We arrived and signed in. There were five people in our group. We were told our wait time would be 20 minutes. Many many people with varying size groups were seated yet we were never called and our table was never ready. We finally left after 45 min.

We ate at this Red Lobster on Easter. No crowds which was a nice change. The waiter was decent, but the food was just ok. The crab legs were good, but none of our food was very hot. My husband said his food tasted like it had been sitting.

Tried the Lobster Lovers Dream tonight. What a nightmare! For a restaurant to name itself after the king of crustaceans and then deliver such a terrible meal well I would really be embarrassed if I were you. I will probably visit the restaurant again in the future but I will never I repeat never order lobster. A big $ 30 disappointment!

Ate at the bar on a slow Tuesday night. Food was typical decent RL fare, but the new CEO is fooling around with menu options and I was sad to see the disappearance of the simple balsamic vinaigrette dressing and replaced with raspberry and blueberry (?).
Again food overall was on par with a typical RL, but the service from the bartender was attentive and very good.

I am writing this review mainly because of Stephanie V. She waited on us last night. She did a wonderful job. Red Lobster was VERY busy. She waited on us with the efficiency of the professional she is. She is friendly and polite. She makes the best Caesar salad and always freshens your drink. All in all it is refreshing to have someone work this hard on this busy of a night and to do so at this high level! The food was serve hot and was typical Red Lobster fair, it was pretty good. Not the quality of a seaside lobster shack in Maine. But you get the picture.
