Wendy’s

This is a standard Wendy’s. The service is quick and the staff is courteous. No complaints here.

Worst service ever!!!
Waited for 15 minutes in the lobby and the line didn’t move.
5 people were in the kitchen and they were all paying attention at the screen and not doing a single thing.
14 cars went thru the drive thru and no one had asked the people in the lobby for their order.
I ended up walking out and I was very upset. i am never going back to that place.
Worst experience ever.

For a moment I actually contemplated giving this Wendy’s 5 stars, but then I remembered I was reviewing the whole restaurant and not just the drive thru. Also, it’s a Wendy’s, so let’s not get too crazy. On the whole though, this is a very pleasant branch of the chain. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, it’s not too crowded or noisy because it’s a bit off the beaten path. The best part of this location is the drive thru. I honestly believe it is the most efficiently run drive thru I have ever experienced. It’s how I imagine the men in suits sitting around their fast food boardroom table back in the day intended a drive thru to be. You order, pull up to the first window and pay, and then your food is immediately handed to you when you get to the second window — no waiting, no pulling ahead because something isn’t ready. I always have special orders because of a hatred of tomatoes and unnatural love of pickles, but it doesn’t slow them down a jot. They are consistently fast and accurate no matter what I throw at them. So, well done, Centre Ave Wendy’s! Yours is the drive thru I shall judge all other drive thrus against.
