Sushi was pretty good, a little pricey for mediocre quality though. Will probably be back.

Came here the other day. Had the buffet deal. The sushi itself I would give about 3.5 stars. For some reason the sashimi just wasn’t as good as it is at other places. Their spicy tuna on crispy rice was AMAZING though. Must get! Overall the sushi itself wasn’t bad, I just thought that the price of it was excessive(27.95). I’ve eaten at places that include the same foods for about 23 bucks.

This was the third week in a row thst we were going to eat here. The woman who seems like the owner is rude and acts like she is doing you a favor when you order. The tables are very small for an all you can eat Sushi place. We asked if we could sit at a larger table and were told it was three or more. Last week, we saw three parties of two at the same tables. We told very rudely that they were for three or four people only. There were many open tables. They have now lost customers that would have come three or four times a month.

My boyfriend and I was in the porter ranch area and was craving sushi so we just drove along Rinaldi and came across this spot. It was very quiet and not that much people. We were kinda excited to know that it was happy hour at the moment. We ordered 2 plates and a handroll. The handroll came out first and my bf said it was pretty good. Then my BSCR came out, it was well made and delicious. The last plate took forever to come out which was the Alaskan roll. Which is probably the easiest one to make. Took almost 20mins to come out. I was about to fall asleep! Then it finally came out. We decided to order one more cuz we were still hungry which was the Hot Night roll. And that took like 30mins. The food is good but it takes forever for them to make it especially when there’s barely anyone even there. The lights are super dim where it makes me wanna take a nap even more and the show that was on TV was some football player that’s paralyzed and has to crawl to play with the team.

I drive all the way from La Canada to come here for casual night sushi maybe once a month. After last night(12.12.15), forget me coming here! The sushi chefs are very friendly but the female waitress is so awful that I lost my appetite out of anger. She kept bringing me the wrong albacore sashimi & every time I’d say it’s wrong, she’d throw us the world’s attitude & start yelling to the kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. We kept telling her that we ordered it with fried onions. First time she brings it with fresh onions, second time she brings it with grilled onions. She has the audacity to stand there with attitude & explain how the onions are cooked & if I’m sure I ordered it with fried onions!!! On to the next one: after ordering a Lemon Roll, she threw the plate onto our table & the presentation of the sushi was ridiculous. The rolls were falling apart.(picture uploaded) She goes by the name of «Rubina» & she is tearing that business apart with her attitude! I’m coming out on a Saturday night to enjoy some sushi, not deal with frustration & attitude! Good luck training her! Consider me a no show there & will not recommend this place to anyone after last night.

Good price, and customer service. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for an AYCE sushi restaurant in the Valley.

How do people eat this stuff? Seriously…how do you not gag when chewing on the rubber chicken covered in sludge? I just don’t get it. I ordered Chicken Breast Teriyaki here and for $ 10.95 I expected it to be something half decent. For that price in Porter Ranch I expect better food than I can get for $ 5 in West LA where prices are higher across the board but I guess logic does not always play out in the way things actually are. The chicken breast was thin and tasted like plastic… and was covered with a disgusting teriyaki sauce and on a bed of peppers and onions alongside a «salad.» But I’m not sure salad is the right word for lettuce with orange sauce on top. My advice if you do plan to go here is to eat before and should you not heed my warning I fear for your mouth and gut… but if that doesn’t put you in a bad mood the dark, depressing décor will no doubt accomplish your transcendence in to a state of being you most definitely wish you were not currently experiencing.

My boyfriend and I were on our way home after class when we saw this place and figured we would try it. It was a huge waste of time. The sushi was very poor quality and dry. The service was slow and our 1 ‘hour all you can eat’ turned into a little over two hours of mostly trying to get served. The prices are not in sync with the quality of the food either. I can think of many other places I would have rather dined. Ps. Do not order anything fried! The oil TASTES very old.

Checked out this place for the first time today. Was craving sushi and looking for a sushi place in the area where I watch my nephew. I ordered the salmon and avocado roll and the rattlesnake roll. Fish wasn’t fresh but wasn’t the worst I’ve had. It was just ok. Nothing special. As for the rolls itself, I was really disappointed in the presentation! Sushi is supposed to be an art but here it’s not. I couldn’t believe how the rice was just thrown onto the seaweed! It looked like a kid put the roll together. Even I took sushi lessons years ago and can do a better job! Nothing held together when using the chopsticks. If I was the owner and the sushi chef that put those rolls together, I’d be embarrassed! I most likely won’t return. There are better sushi restaurants out there.

Was here tonight(Sun) Extremely friendly Sushi guru, All you can eat, FANTASTIC! My only complaint is that I wish I could have tried more food. Too full. Tremendous joint. I’ll be talking about it on the Radio show.

After being here more often, I thought it should be time to update my review. I really enjoy coming here when I’m in the mood for sushi & a lot of it. They usually give pretty good portions of fish even if you go AYCE. One of my favorite rolls here is the Tampa roll which has Salmon on the outside; tempura shrimp, imitation crab, & avocado on the inside. It’s quite the heavenly combination. Also you can’t go wrong with grabbing a pair of oysters too. Staff is very friendly. Only wished that they applied happy hour drinks to AYCE.

It’s happy hour Sushi from 3pm to 6 pm. 30% off, then 8 pm to close, 10 pm, or go for all you can eat for $ 27.95 with a few rules, you need to eat everything on your plate !

Once again, we had an amazing time @ Sushi Ko! Eddie & Andy are outstanding chef’s, they really go out of there way to please clients to make sure everyone is enjoying their lunch or dinner. Most importantly, they serve great food at a great price, you really can’t go wrong here! Overall Rating: A+++

I wish there was a better sushi restaurant in porter ranch. I would totally just make the extra 5 minute drive and just go to kyoto sushi on reseda and devonshire for all you can eat sushi Location– its in a good center next to whole foods, z pizza greek and chinese food. Good parking usually pretty busy because of whole foods. Food– less than mediocre, went here for all you can eat and didnt manage to get past 2 rolls before just leaving. I got a spicy albacore hand roll and they asked me so many questioms about it i pretty much told them how to make it, and when i tastsd it the fish didn’t taste fresh and they made it completely wrong. They literally put a line of sriracha on it some rice cucumber half a piece of avocado smelt egg and not so fresh albacore. I also got the crispy riice with tuna, it wasnt fresh either. It had this weird chalky texture after the inital bite for some reason wasn’t enjoyable, i then got another roll that i dont care to remember, and it was jusy wayyyy too much rice lacked flavor and had nothing to it. Not a good place for sushi. Service — the girl was cool, she tried to help us out but with recommendations and what to order but i can tell she wasnt really fond of the sushi as well and honestly tried to steer us in the right direction so we wont be disappointed as bad as we should be, the reason i put 2 stars is cuz of her, her help making it not as disastrous as it could have been gives it an extra star.

I live in Porter Ranch and I hate driving to Studio City or Encino for Sushi! I now am Thankful I have found Sushiko! Great food all around cooks are experienced and courteous as well as the waiting staff. Seems like a small family business which keeps it authentic. I like Spicy Tuna, delicious sushi! :) and a hard miso soup Critic! They passed with flying colors. My taste buds left extremely happy after eating at this place in Northridge. What I ordered may you ask? BSC with spicy tuna & Mexican Roll!

Was so embarrassed that I took my girlfriend here for some catching up. Usually service is ok but our guy was slow never brought anything out that we asked for so we just walked up to the sushi bar to get everything. My friend doesn’t eat sushi so she got a meat kabob expect all they brought out was little cut pieces of meat. When we told them this is t what she ordered he responded with we changed the menu. THENWHYDOYOUHAVEITONTHERESTILL. Then my food finally came out and a fly flew right into it and when i tried to be Discrete he looked at me like I was crazy so I just walked out
