Comfort Inn & Suites

Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Room was attractive; bed was comfortable. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave. Nice that they had free wifi throughout the hotel, a pool & hot tub, and complimentary breakfast daily. The only drawback to our stay was the fact that there’s no restaurant on site and none very close by, so we had to go to a truck stop to get some food late one evening. Overall, a good stay at a good price.

This hotel was a lot nice then expected. As another poster mentioned we also had a moldy smell in our room (wonder if we stayed in the same room?) which we ended up figuring out came from the fridge, which was unplugged when we got there. Weird. There were also a few ants we seen by the window that were having a field day crawling over my lap top. It was only a couple so I shooed them off and told the front desk. Our bed was the huge plus of this room, VERY comfortable, which is important to me since I have back problems.
Check in /​check out was very easy and they also offered us a military discount we didn’t know they add. The place around the hotel was very peaceful and clean with the exception of the train I heard at night. But I’m from the city so it doesn’t bother me.
This hotel is also close to pretty much everything: starbucks, restaurants, the DUNES, the highway. So it’s a good vocal point to stay at if you plan on sight seeing.
Despite the smell and the ants, we’ll possibly stay here again next time we’re in the area.

The room smelled of cigarettes, carpets were dirty. Several of the other guests arrived and found they their rooms were not ready, had not been cleaned. The front desk was under staffed. Not a good hotel.
