This place was great. They were pretty much shut down when I approached and asked if they could cook me something up because I was starving. The guy working didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience at all even though I was. The food was great and tasted fresh! Loved it.

The elephant ears are a steal and the macaroni and cheese, although a bit overpriced($ 8) satisfied my kids. I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu.

Person at window was inattentive to our arrival and it seemed his phone was more important than cheerfully greeting customers. We ordered the Macaroni & Cheese. A tad expensive @ $ 8, but was delicious melt in your mouth creamy… YUM!

Wasn’t a huge fan of our overly cheese Alfredo. It was honestly hard to eat. It was also a bit spendy, the pasta was $ 8⁄9 but if you wanted to add chicken it was an extra $ 2.5. For that price it really expected it to at least come with a few pieces of bread. I didn’t love the porcini mushrooms they used in it. We had also ordered Indian from the cart next door and ended up finishing all of that but barely touched the pasta. Aside from so much cheese it was also too saucy. I know Alfredo is completely made up of cheese and cream but it was hard to eat.

Less than 15% of my reviews are five stars. Getting that fifth star from me is not something that comes lightly. It doesn’t just take«above and beyond.» It takes the whole shebang; the kit and kaboodle, and the kitchen sink. It doesn’t take good service, good food, a good experience, and a good time had by all. It takes all that and more. But I’m more than happy to post plenty of perfectly honest and fair 3 and 4 star reviews all day long. Usually I’m one of those people that wants to turn on the water and I want the water to come out and I don’t want to know where it’s coming from. I want the food to appear on my plate and I want it to taste great, but I don’t want to know how it became that way. Ordinarily I don’t care either. Today I care. It’s that good. What I want to know today, is why does food coming from a trailer parked at a back of food cart pod taste this good? This is not right. Why is it in a little cardboard box instead of on a porcelain plate on a linen table cloth? When I close my eyes and take a bite, or even breathe in the aroma of this food, I feel like I should be downtown, in a dimly lit place, maybe soft music playing in the corner, with a waiter in a tuxedo serving several courses, looking at the different sets of silverware and not knowing what to do with them. I ordered the fried ravioli, thinking, it’s a food cart, fried ravioli is simple. Greasy and tasty. A nice afternoon treat that I can wash down with ice cream after I eat half of it. I wouldn’t expect to notice much about the appearance of food from a food cart, but I swear my fried ravioli was«arranged» on a bed of greens and garnished. I almost didn’t want to disturb it. It reminded me of that local place in Sellwood that had a cooking show on TV back in the 90’s and everything they served looked too pretty to eat. But this is a food cart, and the food was in a cardboard box. Don’t worry, it didn’t stay neatly arranged for long. ;-) I’m a bit size-challenged, so I rarely eat an entire meal in one sitting, maybe once or twice per year. I did today. Ravioli is usually soft and mushy. This is why I like it fried. Fried ravioli has a better texture. But if it’s not made right, it is greasy and soggy. I ate this dish with my hands, and shockingly, it was not greasy at ALL. The veggie filling was very creamy, dense, and delicious. The outside was just the right amount of crispy/salty/chewy and SO flavorful. It was served with a fantastic pesto sauce for dipping. My son had Chicken Alfredo. It looked like a penne pasta with mushrooms and was also very good. I didn’t try much of it because I was quite enamored with my own meal, and he was pretty busy inhaling it and not really into sharing. It was pretty large serving and had a lot of mushrooms. The alfredo had a nice basil-y flavor. My daughter had the mac N cheese, which was also quite a large serving. She wasn’t able to finish it, and despite the hot weather, she insisted on taking the rest home to eat later, which is very unlike her, since she is quite the picky eater. The Mac N Cheese was definitely«home made» but didn’t taste like any home made mac N cheese this mom ever made. It was very creamy, and not greasy(If you haven’t noticed, I’m not a huge grease lover here.) The noodles were big and firm but soft, not mushy, and drenched in several types of cheese. I am not exactly a mac N cheese connoisseur, but I think I’d have to say this was the best macaroni and cheese I’ve ever tasted. Ever. The service was just as good as the food. Just one guy. I think his name was Ed. He was friendly and had a smile on his face despite the super hot weather. I was literally dripping sweat so I can’t imagine what it was like inside his little trailer with the burners going. He was very polite and greeted each of us. He also thanked each of us. I don’t know if most people would care about something like that or even notice, but I thought it was a very nice touch. I’m surprised that the prices are the same as other food carts when the food quality is not at all something you would expect from a food cart but more like what you would find at a high end restaurant. I very nearly went back and ordered more before we left and I wish I had. I live across town and will have to make a special trip to go back over there for more. I wish I lived closer so I could get take out here all the time, but I’m glad I live across town so I wont spend all my money on deliciously fattening food. I’ll definitely be back very soon. We skipped desert.

Superb food. Fast too. I could have ate there all day if I had such a luxury. Had the mixed veggie deep fried ravioli and the mushroom Alfredo with chicken. And will definitely be going back! IDK what else to say but fast, friendly and superbly tasty.
