We went here to see a play and my friend and I stopped here to get a glass of wine. The wine wasn’t the best wine that I’ve had for $ 8 to be honest… but it was ok. Nice little café and the building is absolutely beautiful! The staircases, etc… were clean.

Come in overheated, about to pass out… the theatre is open… ask the girls behind the bar for a simple glass of ice water. They snottily say they don’t open until six and «they don’t even have ice yet»…and it’s 5:55…they then go into a back room and don’t even come out until 6:10.
What human compassion… what «good customer service».

The Armory Café was great. It has cheap prices that is worth every penny. I had the cheese sandwich with bacon. Apparently it comes with a salad and with $ 1.00 more you can get a wonderful candy cookie. The service is quick. I swiftly learned that a grilled cheese-bacon sandwich has more than just that. It has a salad and tomato bedding inside.
It is a café place. You can go in, order, and sit down. You can gaze at the beauty of the building and then leave. It truly is a great place to eat.

Nice place, good food, reasonably priced. Nice to not have to wait very long for your order, but this place was so dead when I was there that it kind of bothered me. Wish there was more buzz about this place.

Cappuccino is the only thing i’ve ever ordered here — and they’re unbelievably good. I’m not one to rave overmuch or to be especially exacting about my coffee, but this stuff is noteworthy. I’ve had them a half dozen or so times, different baristas, and every one has been ambrosial.
