Definitely the most hipster Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The leather chairs, layout and décor, upscale rustic vibe, beautifully stained and lacquered wood bar top makes this more hipster than your traditional Starbucks. This just happens to be the first Starbucks location test store to serve wine, beer, cheese plates, bacon wrapped dates, and a whole host of other items you wont normally find at Starbucks. Located directly across the street from Powell’s bookstore, we stopped in for a late night tea before heading back to Eugene. Even though many of the stores on the block were already closed, we were glad to see the lights on here. For after 11 pm on a Saturday night, the gal at the register was as friendly as could be, and the barista made our late night grande chai tea misto with one pump of vanilla just right.

Very Good Starbucks. Large and friendly. Made friends with a few people but they’re now changing them our. Yet soon enough they’ll know me .yet people are nice. I found that Starbucks seems only to have rather abrupt very business like females at management. Never men at all. As a Veteran I’ve had some shame thrown my way at other places. Never in this store ever. I will state no problems ever at this store.

This Starbucks is so nice, it is definitely an experience being able to go to one and order alcohol. They only sell beer and wine here with small plates as well. It is a big store with good service. While it is a little spendy to come here to grab a drink($ 10 for a chardonnay, $ 5 for a beer) it was an experience to do.

Everyone knows Starbucks is amazing. However, this particular location is by far my favorite in Portland. The baristas are extremely friendly and always make an effort to learn about their customers and remember their orders. The seating is perfect to spend hours on end studying. The only reason I can survive nursing school is spending my weekends here. If you are looking for a place to admire Portland, this is it.

Awesome Huge Beautiful Huge Awesome Store :) SITREP Hanging out in Portland with friends before hitting the Shadowplay Club event at the Fez Ballroom. This is nice inexpensive chill spot for the hour we wait. THESETUP The size of this Starbucks on impressive and has lots going on for it — in my mind, almost rivals the Starbucks on Olive Way on Capitol Hill in Seattle. More specifically: * Lots of wood varnished tables in a decidedly Pacific Northwest Style. * Open late — 11PM — Holy Hell! * The Clover machine is humming since it’s making my Tall Blonde Roast. As I discovered at the large Monterey Peninsula Starbucks, earlier this year, the Clover makes the process of brewing my roast a lot tastier with less aftertaste. * The WiFi is screaming fast * The bathrooms are immaculate and clean THELOWDOWN Excellent late evening coffee stop before heading on to your next evening fun stop.

Pull-up a curb-side table in the hustle/bustle, Pearl shop-on district. Get Pikes buzz-on while gazing-on the street action. Powell’s book store across the street draws a crowd. Musicians play-on the sidewalks. Swarms of beautiful, weird and funny folk pass-on by. But it is still about coffee, so pull-out your gold card, sit and enjoy the side shows!

My favorite Starbucks store! Big open space, stays open till almost midnight, a dozen seats by the windows for Pearl District people watching, and menu has alcohol and snacks in addition to the regular choices. Service is usually great as well and the place is kept pretty clean. I love stopping by here after the gym to do late night reading. I try to steer clear of Starbucks when I’m in Portland since there are dozens of local coffee shops but this specific Starbucks is the exception!

A fun location in the heart of the shopping district. Lines can get long, people can be abrupt, and the homeless to tend to bring their ramen in. It’s a pretty large space for where it is, not the normal brick and mortar, more metal etc. A cute stop down town, pop in get a beverage, take a break.

Fancy starbucks serves fancy other-than-coffee things — like wine and beer! This is such a cute starbucks location that i am proud to live next to. It’s very easy to get work done here, and also easy to just relax and listen to live music, or get some dessert and a glass of wine after a movie or a trip to the bookstore. I highly recommend this Starbucks and think they are a good stop if you are looking for a little place to get work done in the Pearl. The internet is decently speedy and the service here is great.

I don’t go to Starbucks often as I don’t drink coffee but my friend«needed» to stop into this Bucks to get a steamer before we headed off to Powell’s. The general look and décor of this Bucks is a lot different than most. The seat area is slightly removed from the mainly coffee-making area. The whole place has a dark mysterious feel as the walls are back and there are splashes of natural light coming in from the high ceiling of the atrium and from off the street whereas there is hardly a need for overhead lighting during the day. I am still amazed that the baristas can remember the long winded orders of the customers with their half soy mocha this and the nonfat vanilla decaf that with two shots of the other. They were all friendly and gracefully moving around as if a dance ensued scooping and grinding and pouring along the way. I had to use the loo and they have it locked with a pass code. This is probably to keep nonpaying customers out of the bathroom as well as minimize the amount of vagrants and random homeless people coming in and using the bathroom as a place to wash up. Sad as it sounds, it’s for good measure and to probably keep up certain food handling practices. Although, when I got to the bathroom there was a man in there that I think I caught him by surprise as he was washing his armpits and upper torso. He hurriedly gathered his things and left the bathroom but left a crispy musky odor behind as a treat. *sarcasm* All in all this is a really nice Bucks, and even though my friend was the one spending the money, I had a nice time as well. Oh, and as many have mentioned, this Bucks serves wine and beer, so if you’re trying to get a little sauced on your lunch and don’t have a lot of time, pop on in to Bucks and throw back a few glasses of wine *just kidding, drink responsibly*

It’s Starbucks, so we all know what to expect. Can’t say it’s my favorite coffee but it’s decent enough to drink(I only get flavored lattes, so that might help) and always seems to give me a good energy burst. However, this review is for this specific location. I almost want to give them an extra star just for the fact that they’re open until 11pm. I work a couple blocks away and start around 9pm and go til 2 or 3am. Coffee is a necessary part of the getting-ready-for-work routine and there really aren’t any other night time options in the area. So thank you Starbucks for helping me make it through the night! And for making me happy, not grouchy, I think everyone I come into contact with while working thanks you too. Oh, the staff here has always been super nice too. Bonus.

I know Portland is Stumptown territory, but Starbucks is just as ubiquitous there as it is in Seattle. This Starbucks near Powell’s and Whole Foods in the Pearl District is hands down the most fanciest Starbucks that I have ever visited. This location is one of the concept Starbucks stores. Here you can find individual Clover machine brewed cofee as well as microbrew beer and wine. The coffee selection is more extensive than your typical location as they have Starbucks Reserve coffee selections to choose from. They cost more than the regular brew, but you will notice a difference in the quality and taste of the coffee. Had a cup of the Nicaragua Diamond($ 2.95 for grande). Although it took longer than usual since it is individually brewed, it was worth the wait. This coffee is strong, but the flavor is not overwhelming. In addition to serving great coffee, there is tons of seating here. There is outdoor seating along with big tables, little tables and chairs. This is a good place if you are looking to unwind as well as a good place to study since it is so large while using the wi-fi. I really like the ambiance here since it is has a bit of a darker interior aesthetic than the regular stores. Even if you are loyal to Stumptown and won’t drink any other coffee except, I think it is worth visiting this Starbucks just to view the beautiful modern design of this location.
