Backs On Burnside

I was referred to Backs on Burnside a few years ago from a friend due to headaches and shoulder pain that I had been feeling for years.
I have seen several of the doctors and massage therapists at Backs on Burnside and they have all been great to work with. You are the focus while at the clinic. The atmosphere is laid back and the approach to chiropractic care is great.
I have recommended their services to others who have also gone and had great experiences.

I’ve been going here for a over two years now and have never left disappointed. Magumi Moskowitz treated me mostly through my pregnancy and always made me feel at ease. Being a Mother herself, she really knows how to work with women and pregnant women. My husband also enjoys going to her as well as Tara.
We love Tara and her background of growing up with chiropractors. Her approach is slightly different and nice to have options.
In fact, I’ve seen just about every massage therapist and chiropractor and leave feeling relieved, relaxed and respected every time.
Their front desk staff is always kind and helpful. Their office has a more laid back spa, homey feel as opposed to a Dr. Office.
They are kind when I need to bring my baby.
Also, they have a private lot as well as convenient street parking easily found on East Burnside.

The office is located in an old victorian house. It is a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. all off the staff are friendly and efficient.

I grew up hearing chiropractors are quack, quack, quacks.
Sadly at my young age I have had back problems and my most recent bout of issues seemed unrelated to my previous issue and exercises that fixed that problem weren’t working and the pain pills and muscle relaxers weren’t doing a thing either. So finally I said F-​it I am trying a chiropractor!
I was able to get a same day appointment with Taura Lemmon. During my initial visit she was very thorough as we went through my previous problems and current symptoms. She also stated that if there was anything I was uncomfortable with we didn’t have to proceed and she wouldn’t be offended, as she knew that I had never been to a chiropractor before. Before I was even on the table Taura said I think your current problem is «this» and guess what she was right. After my first visit I felt unbelievably better. So to make it short I am healed! My whole treatment process lasted about a month and a half mainly coming in once per week.
Suffice it to say I am more than pleased with the service and treatment I received. I loved the mix of massage therapy, heat, ultrasound, manipulations, and home stretches. The office staff is very friendly and the office itself is very warm and cozy. The multiple massage therapists who were apart of my treatment were also very skilled.
Guess whose quacking now? Only ducks.

I went to Backs on Burnside after I was hit by a car while riding my bike. They put me on a treatment program with definite review dates.
The service is professional and the «adjustment table”-side manner is great. They are able to work around my busy 8 – 5 schedule.

These ladies are worthy without a doubt. I’ve been in a few chiropractic offices over the last 23 years and this is one solid team of qualified people. Even better – they’re friendly, too – the whole staff. They know what they are doing, their approach is thoughtful, and I’m a happy «new» patient on the mend. Great office, good location and it’s close to bus line #20 as well in case you don’t drive. Ask about their wellness plan!

Great chiropractors! I’ve seen numerous chiropractic physicians in my day and Megumi and Gail are some of the best. Nice office and friendly staff. They combine massage therapy with every treatment which is a great key to their treatment success. Recommended.
